Jason Todd’s death wasn’t his fault. Not in any version of it.

I’ve always been angry at how the Under The Red Hood movie and newer comics have changed almost everything about his death to make it his own fault and blame him, but even then it’s still not his fault.

Originally Jason had zero idea that the joker was there, he just wanted to protect his mom. Jason made the choice that every single Robin would have made. And it pisses me off when people try to act all uppity about his death when their favorite would have done the same thing.

Even retconning Sheila and having Jason purposely go after the Joker doesn’t make his death his fault! He was a child. Bruce may be to blame for some things but the only people who should be blamed for the death of a child is his killer and the accomplice. Not the fifteen year old.
