WINGS 🪽 - soon...
Countless generations ago, when power was monopolized by the greedy and love was capable of bringing about the worst tragedies, the gods forged an artifact as powerful as it was dangerous. Upon it, the voice of the heavens declared:
"Oh, how beautiful love is, as delicate as a flower and yet so tainted by humanity! Behold: all those who truly love cannot possess all power; and those who choose power never loved with purity. Do you want freedom? Have wings, fly to the sun and depart from all the evils of the world. Renounce mundane goods—wealth and power—abandon all that tarnishes purity. There is no great love without great sacrifice. Greedy souls, if you are not together because of your own will, come for this power: in your hands will be freedom, in your hands you will possess immortality. But know that then your soul will no longer belong entirely to you; the one who shares it will also enjoy that curse.
How beautiful is love! How cruel is power! Let this freedom come at a price: let the pain be shared, let the cry tear through the night, and let the tears flow like a waterfall. Oh, please, let mortals choose their love.
But mortals did not listen. Despite such warnings, battles broke out. The offer of immortality and the promise of freedom stained the chronicles with blood: relentless wars, countless betrayals. The gods, seeing what their creation had attracted, hid their treasure, one so dangerous that it is said that not even the great sage equal to the heaven dared to seek it. And with each winter, humanity forgot… …although, as if it were a closely guarded secret, one that not even the winds dared to proclaim, some sages claim that the immortals left one last warning:
"When the world is about to end, when the one who calls himself savior falls from his throne, when the feathers hide in the shadows and the sage finally sees the light, chaos will come. Do not allow his harbinger to enchant the dragon's flame with false promises; for he who never accepted this power will seek it in his hour—and he who never cared will feel it in the diyu."
