♥ Wilbur, ★ Tommy, ൠ Quackity?
♥ - family headcanon
Wilbur met Sally in his early teens, and they travelled the world in their early adulthood until Sally fell pregnant with Fundy, where they moved back with Wilbur's family. Sally, as a shapeshifter, had lost most of her own, shapeshifters being incredibly rare and often hunted either for the alchemical value of their bodies or as slaves in the more unscrupulous parts of the multiverse, and as such once Fundy was born as a shapeshifter, they were both incredibly frightened for his safety and almost smotheringly protective, and with Wilbur this only got worse after Sally one day just… disappeared straight from her bed, with no evidence but a bit of blood and a hysterical younger Fundy. He still views his son as that child, as someone who needs protection and smothering.

During exile, the combination of both being hit with weaponry multiple times and the blasts from the explosions left Tommy to develop nerve damage, especially around his hands but throughout his whole body to a lesser extent. He gets really bad shaking fits, struggles to coordinate himself, and is in constant chronic pain that sometimes gets flare ups so bad he can barely leave his bed. After his death, it’d be inaccurate to say it worsened, but his hypersensitivity doesn’t help with the pain. It’s a constant reminder of the worst parts of his life that he despises.

Sometime during the founding of Las Nevadas, Quackity started questioning their gender identity. They'd always felt uncomfortable in their skin, but they took that as trauma remaining from Schlatt, but they started experimenting with pronouns and their gender expression. She settled on she/they pronouns and presenting more fem around the time that she met c!Slime, who for a while thought that meant he also had to do the same thing because if his best friend Quackity of Las Nevadas does it clearly it is the best cause of action. Hey, you said random headcanon and I cannot resist transfem c!Q.
The headcanon post, in case anyone wants to send anything in!
I feel like a bad person because I possibly don't learn from my mistakes as well as a lot of people do. I get that I'm Autistic and developmentally Disabled, but I've had too many bad things happen to me and too scarce of a support system to afford to let anyone down. And I've been punished too much & too harshly for not learning as well as others.
Brain stuff
Recently, we had my sister assessed for an autism spectrum disorder. In doing research, I've started to wonder about my own diagnosis and whether or not I could be on the spectrum.
My social interaction issues seem to be more closely related to Aspergers than simply ADHD. I've taken several ASD quizzes online (just to see how I'd score) and every time I've scored in the ASD range.
I don't know what to do exactly... I can't really get much more help than I'm already getting. It won't do much for me if I get an actual diagnosis either. I don't know if the stress of it all is worth it in the long run.
Why can't my brain be normal?
