“I tolerate your existence,” Regulus said as if the words tasted foul in his mouth.
“Try again, love,” James purred, his eyes crinkling with his smile.
“I enjoy your company,” Regulus said through gritted teeth.
“I’m not leaving you alone until you say it,” James singsonged as he twirled one of Regulus’s curls around his finger. Regulus glowered at him.
“Fine, I love you too,” James pulled him in close and rewarded him with a kiss.
