✦ the first crisp breeze after a heavy summer
✦ cardigans slipping off shoulders, left on café chairs
✦ steam curling from coffee cups
✦ sunlight turning golden + sleepy at 5pm
✦ bookstores that feel like secret worlds
✦ ink-stained pages + messy journal handwriting
✦ walking home under a violet sky that comes too soon
✦ leaves dragging across sidewalks
✦ candlelight dripping slow, waxy constellations
✦ study sessions that feel strangely cinematic
✦ brown leather satchels, autumn playlists, scribbled notes
✦ rain-soaked hair + not even caring
✦ bonfire smoke tangled with the scent of apple pie
✦ libraries that smell like dust + forever
✦ that soft melancholy that makes everything feel like poetry
Ей нравилось смотреть на бледно-розовое и золотистое утреннее небо за церковным шпилем, на полупрозрачное пламя восхода, разгорающееся над вспаханными полями, на первые лиловые спирали дыма, поднимающиеся с деревенских крыш.
Mabon, also known as the Autumn Equinox is one of two days of the year when the day and night are in perfect balance. Mabon falls every year between September 20th - 24th. Mabon is a harvest of many seasonal veggies and wheats. This is a celebration of harvest, thanks, abundance, and appreciation of the hearth and home.
I feel that for a lot of us this September presents its energy of harvesting the results of our actions in full awareness and releasing what have already reached its end, so things can start flowing. We are reaching the point in the year circle when we can face our blocks, pain and difficult emotional clutters from the past, remains of grieve, traumatic memories and paradigms preventing us from being fully and authentically.
It's here, it might not sound, well, as an experience you want to have on perfect autumn morning, sitting with your cup of tea and mesmerizing book at cozy coffee shop, and yet - it's here, it's about your soul, your blood and bones, your life how it's going to be tomorrow, it's about asking yourself, am I going to keep moving in the same circles, repeat the same mistakes, continue to struggle with the same pain and wonder why I'm still not there, why I feel this way, why I can't, why I don't move forward.
These two insightful autumn spreads can bring a lot on the surface.
Unlock, let go, level up!
Gateway spread, 3 cards
1 - locked gate - what caused the block, why you can't move forward, what you don't see.
2 - key - what you can do to move forward, how you can proceed.
3 - passage - lesson you're learning from this situation, pathway you're going to choose after you move from the block
Letting go and leveling up spread, 4 cards
1 - grieve object, struggle - if you're aware of that, this card can give you some extra information or direction to look to face the work left to be done, it can be an indication that even you though you had released something you still need to go back and work with that.
2 - goal \ direction - specific work in front of you: do you need to communicate something? is there something to process? is there a need to set boundaries?
3 - tools \ support for integration - this card laid crossing cards 1 and 2 - this card can be read in both directions: what is helping you vs what challenging you, what reminders you need to help you move forward vs what might be holding you back.
4 - heart of matter - read this card with gentleness and full love towards yourself, no matter how strong the message this card is holding, love yourself fully in the time of purging and letting go, remember you're on incredible journey to your-self, you're loved and supported by the entire cosmos and you're universe yourself, experiencing this 3-d reality in most unique and profound way.
Here, we'll combine a classics fall craft with a little abundance magick.
You'll need :
String
Pinecone[s]
Peanut butter
Birdseed
Plate
Begin by tying a loop of string to the end of a pinecone, make it as long as you need to in order to hang your finished treat from an outdoor tree or hook.
Next, use a butter knife or spoon to spread peanut butter generously on the pinecone. Be sure to get it into the crevices.
Pour birdseed onto the plate, then roll the peanut butter covered pinecone in the seed, coating it.
As you roll, visualize your household full of warmth, health, prosperity, and say :
By bird and cone and hearty seed, we welcome friends come round to feed.
Of warmth and love in autumns chill, may all who dwell here get their fill.
Hang your pinecone[s] outside and enjoy watching the critters who snack on them.
