When Helena and Mark S. went to look for Ms. Casey, they briefly stop at a turn in a hallway and look at each other longingly. Mark really wants to kiss who he assumes to be Helly R. but he does not make the move, which is very in character for him. Mark S. is a shy and timid man. On the other hand, Helly R. is bold, brass, and most importantly, she will take what she wants.
Even when they both kissed for the first time right before OTC, Helly was the one who grabbed him by the collar and pulled Mark into the kiss. Helena would never do that, eventhough in that moment we thought it seemed as though your typical shyness around someone you like. It's just another instance where you realise the difference between those two, and portrayed so subtly.
And ep6 further proves it, Helly is very clear and concise about what she wants, and goes for it without hesitation even if there might be rejection. She processed her feelings, went back to find Mark, and said what was going on in her head. And once again, SHE went for it because she refuses to let her outie taint something she loves.
