Thinking again about how Athena met and lost Emmett so young, cutting short their potential, and how it’s implied her unresolved grief led her to settle for Michael despite sensing on some level that he didn’t quite love her Like That, but he was safe and wanted a family too. How that inevitably didn’t work out for obvious reasons. She was glad for their children and didn’t want to get divorced, Michael had to be the one to leave her, but it also can’t be said she was actually happy or fulfilled in the marriage.

And anyway fandom has been trying to give Michael’s journey to Eddie, but Eddie’s story is actually much closer to Athena’s. I’m wishing and hoping and praying on Athena being a big part of his healing journey. 🕯️🙏🕯️🙏🕯️

Thinking about BuddietommySHANNON where the four of them want to extend their family, and decided that getting Shannon and Buck pregnant at the same time is the way to go. Just think of the sex they'd have to get those babies here. Buck and Shannon begging Tommy and Eddie to put a baby in them, begging their men to breed them. Just so many bodies twisted together they can no longer tell where one of them starts and another ends, but it's all okay as long as Buck and Shannon are getting filled with load after load. And then, after 9 months of being pregnant together (hell on earth for Tommy and Eddie btw), Buck and Shannon go into labour together and birth their babies within a couple of hours of one another. They make me SO HAPPY!

"I don't know what to tell Eddie," Shannon admits, her feet kicking against the wall. The Thames chops not a dozen feet below them. High from the rainfall that's only just abated today.

Buck found her out here an hour ago. He's convinced her not to jump, for now, but only barely.

"You can tell what you told me," he suggests. Shannon chokes out a humorless laugh. "What?"

"I can't say this to him, and you know it."

Tommy complies.  “‘s not spinal,” he says.  “My stomach…and my knee.  That’s where it hurts the most.”

It’s not that hard, once he’s heaved himself up onto the ledge.  Shannon is waiting for him by the window, just like she said she would.  She smiles as she unlatches the window, motioning for him to come in. 

He lands in a heap on her floor.

Shannon brings a finger to her lips.  “Don’t wake my parents,” she whispers.

Doesn’t that deleted scene directly contradict the scene earlier in the season where Eddie says he married the first girl he ever dated? Did his apparently existing prior girlfriends not count somehow? Is he just making shit up to suit the conversation he’s actively having? Did the writers just forget that quickly and that’s why the scene had to be deleted? 😂
