Funny story about #adlock in 2021. I haven’t watched Sherlock since January, 2017 and eventually decided to re-watch again my two favourite episodes (The Great Game and ASIB). Then I found myself in the middle of the night starring on the very last minutes of ASIB feeling all intense emotions again. Unbelievable!

So I’ve spent the next few days on AO3 reading all Adlock. Of course, I forgot almost all works. All WIP’s were finished and long (mmm! 20+ chapters), so I almost haven’t eat, almost broken all my deadlines from work (God bless the fact I’m freelancer working from home). OMG that content brought me joy and life and everything in these dull covid-lockdown-days!

I would like to say that our favourite pairing is great. It lives, it gives emotions and hope.

Adlock is about hope, love, intelligence and respect. But most of all — love and hope.

We miss these feelings sometimes, especially these couple of years.

Thank you to all brilliant authors who write about this pairing and still reads work about Sherlock and Irene.

(Not)the end of my story is great. I became an author too. I started to write my fan fiction in July. Last weekend it hit 90 000 symbols and I decided to publish it. Adlock pushes the creativity like nothing else!

И вот я сижу в ночи, и как будто вижу «Скандал…» впервые, снова испытывая те же сильные эмоции. Невероятно! Несколько следующих дней я провела на AO3, читая фанфики по адлоку. Конечно, я почти все работы уже забыла. Все большие работы, которые были в процессе раньше, уже закончены авторами и содержат по 20 глав и больше. Так что я почти не ела и не спала, почти сорвала все рабочие дедлайны (к счастью, я фрилансер и работаю из дома). Вся эта лавина контента принесла мне столько радости, вы не представляете! В наше мрачное ковидное  время.

Я хочу сказать, что наш пейринг — великий. Он всё еще живёт, дарит эмоции и надежду. Адлок вообще о надежде, любви, умных людях и глубоком уважении. Но прежде всего, о любви и надежде. Которых нам так не хватает, особенно в эти уже пару лет.

Спасибо всем блестящим авторам, которые пишут об этом пейринге и все еще читают работы о Шерлоке и Ирэн. (Не)финал моей истории отличный. Я тоже стала автором. В июле я начала писать фанфикшн. На прошлых выходных, когда он достиг 90 000 знаков, я решила, что опубликую его. Что вчера и сделала. Адлок провоцирует на креатив как ничто другое! Fellow Adlockers, please share your opinion!

Yesterday my friend and I discussed ASiB and that incredible chemistry between Sherlock and Irene, but when it came to the beginning of all of this story, we actually got stuck because we couldn't indicate when exactly it all started. I mean when did Sherlock fall for her and who, in the end, was the first one to fall in love with another? We all know that our curly detective suffered because of Irene's fake death, but again, how did it begin? The question is if the first apperance of Miss Adler was so impressive that Sherlock loved her at first sight, or was it Irene's texting to him that gave him that 'promise of love'? And as for Irene, when exactly did Sherlock get over that status of 'victim' and become her love interest?

These questions seem so simple, but we really couldn't come to a certain answer, that's why, guys, please, share your opinion about it! I'm open to all your ideas! Don't be afraid of going into detail - actually I'd only appreciate it.
