one thing that bugs me is how so many fanfic writers write robin to be a high school drop out post vecna, or her not going to college. she’s fluent in four languages!! she loves to speak and has a way with words!! she would absolutely go to college because she would want to learn and learn and she would also want to go to somewhere Away from hawkins. a big city like new york or chicago. she would literally get a doctorate just to rub in steve’s face that he didn’t go to college. just because she’s heavily neurodivergent coded doesn’t mean she’s stupid. honestly it means the exact opposite. nothing in the series implies she has bad grades or dislikes actually learning, she just dislikes the small town of hawkins that suffocates a queer kid like her. but yet i feel like it’s the norm to hc her as someone who doesn’t go to college. my girl would collect degrees like pokémon
