Apologies in advance if this sounds like a strongly worded email. I do appreciate people reblogging my artwork, and I don't want to discourage that.

However, I do want to make it absolutely clear that my ship art is tagged as such for a reason. The fic is not published yet, but any and all Promeo tagged art is strictly P and Romeo.

I consider P and Carlo to be separate people and the ships to also be completely different. If you're looking for Carlo and Romeo art, I'm afraid you won't find it here.

i decide who i ship with.

     “at the end of the day, i am the one who decides who i want to ship with.”

     this sentence may sound rough, but that’s not the way it’s intended. it is meant as a reminder to those who struggle, who feel guilted into a ship that may be hard to leave / hard to raise opinions about, who have lost the spark in a ship, who may find it hard to separate ways with a ship they no longer feel.

     at the end of the day, you as the author and presenter of your character, is the one fully in charge whether or not you should stay or pursue a ship. if it doesn’t feel right, you are allowed to step back and say no. if you longer feel a ship, you are allowed to break it off. 

     communication is key, as always.

     but it must be said that you are allowed to do as you please, as you see fit, as you feel. no one gets to stand in your way of that, and if they do, they may not be a compatiable ship partner.

     “my love will fix you” a common rp stereotype.

     no. love can’t, and won’t, fix everything nor everyone. there are things that are better left unfixed, things that don’t need to be fixed. the ideal that you’ll need to lose negative parts of yourself in order to receive love, or for love to remove your character’s flaws is silly.

     sometimes love won’t fix anything.

     and that’s okay.

     If you think that characters ( canon or oc ) are only meant to be written in shippy settings then I don’t know what else to tell you other than you are missing out some magnificent plots as there are other relations in the world than simply romantic.
