Hannibal AU but it’s one of those reddit posts where dudes go to complain that they didn’t realise opening their marriage would mean their wives would get to date other men.

In this AU Will Graham stars as the wife who starts dating his psychiatrist after his husband demands an open marriage. Hannibal has probably been trash talking the husband for months anyway and every so often suggesting they get a divorce so it works out for everyone except the husband.

I cannot believe I put thought and researched about youth camp into this. Never been to an actual youth camp as I was raised by the least religious Orthodox family on the planet. I do know all my super Christian friends lost their virginity there though lol.

Okay, so I decided to expand on that dumb idea I had of the deputy going to Youth Camp.

·         Joseph is obviously the Senior Youth Camp Leader, encouraging children to believe in God, faith and just acting as an emotional or social guide to the children.

·         John would be Camp Director making him in charge of organising meetings and plans, as well as managing stuff if an issue ever arises.

·         Faith, you can choose if it is Rachel or one of the previous Faiths, is the Speaker. She is responsible for helping children grow their faith and love for the Bible and such.

·         Jacob? It was kind of hard to decide what his role is, as Jacob in canon is not religious like the rest of his family. So, I have concluded that he is just the local ranger.

Joseph and Faith sing Christian songs around the campfire, making smores as well as telling why the children should believe in God or they will go to hell. They’re both a little intense about their belief, kids try their best to avoid them when they’re together, as it’s hard enough having one person reciting the word of God.

John would join in on the campfire songs and such, but he is too busy spraying bugs and writing reports. He badly wants the children to like him and think he’s cool, taking it to the point where he drove the bus all the way back to town to buy ice cream for them all.

The children are rightfully afraid of Jacob, everything he says or does has the threat of them dying if they do not follow his orders to the t. He once left the kids in the forest expecting them to be able to come back to the cabins on their own. “If they listened to everything that I told them, they would have been back 20 minutes ago.”
