Hello lovers of BIPOC Vampires - writers, artists, fanartist, comic makers and TTRPG/RPG game creators, etc!

We're putting together our 4th volume of Vampires of Color - a charity anthology associated with #BIPOCVampDay. And we wanted to do an interest check first! If you're interested in participating or supporting the project (or both!) please take a moment to fill out this form.

This is FOR CHARITY and NOT A PAID PROJECT - the zines raise funds for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America during our event in September.

Finding ways to test for #sicklecell in low cost methods similar to that of point of care HIV or malaria tests, would be transformative in testing in countries that have limited resources for screening their sickle cell population. So part of my #growth is to step outta my 🦀#crabshell ♋ & #share some of my everyday experiences living with #SickleCell. Multiple traumas can stagnate & unconsciously fill you with fear. There was a time where #SickleCellAwareness & advocacy played a large role in my #life. I'd go to every Sickle Cell event, meeting, & walk-a-thon, but somewhere down the line I unconsciously allowed the back to back traumatic experiences suppress my #Spirit. As a result, I isolated myself. Literally closed myself away...Hid myself away with the window curtains drawn. My #ego couldn't #accept all the #health crises, surgeries, & instability. I felt like there was no point in sharing my story because I was in such a dark place and I didn't have a positive word for anybody. . I've worked hard to pull myself up out of the deep well of depression & #feel it's time to be the #SickleCellAdvocate #Ifeel #Iam. Letting go of resistance & negative thought patterns gives space to #allowing what is while working towards #elevating. Perpetually #healing! . #GoodMorning, it's #TransfusionDay! #SickleCellWarrior

#TBozUnplugged last night was #lit.
