Hi! What do you think about people sometimes obsessing over side ships in BL? In particular my gripe is about Until We Meet Again (highly recommend btw). The main ship is DeanPharm who are reincarnated soulmates remembering their past lives. But there is a 2nd ship called WinTeam who don't get much screen time but who it seems like everyone is f-ing OBSESSED with. Most fic is about them, comments are all WinTeam this and that. it's not about them! And they seem boring to me. Sorry for the vent.
Ahhhh, yeah i have watched UWMA and i love it no doubt, talking about WinTeam i think the reason for them being comparatively more popular rather than the main ship is chemistry, i love DeanPharm but WinTeam have this extremely overwhelming chemistry and by overwhelming i mean the actors chemistry somewhat overshadows the main couple. This is my take but tbh that's not how i feel. I would say even though everyone has their own preferences (like some people prefer the side couples and supporting characters and root for them more) i feel like both the couples have different dynamics and while DeanPharm have rather soft chemistry, WinTeam has more "flirty" or you know those "sexual tension" type of chemistry which may attract people more considering a huge amount of audience actually prefer sexual chemistry rather than cute one, i am quite versatile and enjoy all forms of dynamic but some people totally dismiss the main couples like jimmysea chemistry in viceversa because ohmnanon have insane chemistry no doubt but jimmysea have done such an amazing job and they have such strong chemistry within them it makes me frown how some just dismiss them and watch the show just for ohmnanon even though it's not their show(i am an ohmnanon fan myself, god bless my boys but yeah it's quite unfair)
