Before I look back at 2025 one last time, I want to take a moment to tell you all how much I appreciate you. This community means more to me than you’ll ever know, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you that not only interacts with me and my story, but also shares your own. I don’t say enough how much I’m inspired by all of you. I’ve connected with so many of your stories and characters. You’ve made me laugh and scream and moved me to tears. And you’ve shown me so much kindness and support. I am endlessly grateful for it. 💖
I had a lot of fun with my story this year. I really leaned into themes of compassion and forgiveness. There was a bit of angst, and some chaotic toddlers, but most of all, there was love. Always love.

I wanted to tag a bunch of you on this post, but the list is so long, and I’m so scared of missing someone or making anyone feel left out or overlooked that I decided not to in the end.
Instead, I’m making a goal to be better at telling you all more regularly throughout the year how much you mean to me and how much I love the ocs and stories and builds and edits you share. I can’t wait to see what you all create next year!
For my story, next year will bring a bit more drama, but the same underlying themes will always be present: Compassion. Forgiveness. Love.

@invisiblequeen - one of my simblr besties!!! Always cheering you on and on the lookout for BC/ sim request and challenges so people can get participation. You need a sim this girl will go hard to make sure she gets the word out as well as submit one of her own beautiful pixels - we love you girlie!!
@aniraklova - not only does she have some freaking beautifully dark sims, her alt cc is yummy. But the real magic started when I entered BC she was hosting, we've been chatting it up ever since… Thank you for being a friend - hello Virgo sister!!!
@therichantsim - Im totally blaming you for my addiction to entering BC, see it all started when I took a chance and created Obsidian for your LIB BC even though she was too late to the party, to party it lit a fire to try again , and have entered over 20 in the last 2 years. Also thankful for gracing my dash with beautiful black love and amazing interiors
@cinamun fellow Virgo sistah! Frand we been riding this sims train since the early 2000's. TS2 stories were bomb! Community was unmatched. You was hosting next top model. I love that 20yrs later I still get to enjoy this game with you. I love that you take the time to really engage with your moots and leave them love, likes and comments. I know there are many a days we feel like we are speaking into the internet void but you always take the time it doesn’t go unnoticed and I appreciate you for your engagement with not only me but other around

I just LOVE the personality you’ve put into your sims! I love the extra little touches you add to your photos! I love how you edit your lighting. I really enjoy reading your cute captions! That little thing you did, in that one shot, that you thought no one noticed? I noticed it and it was AWESOME! I love your games, even when you think no one else does. Keep playing! as everyone would agree, it is always better late than never :^) i wanted to make one yesterday, but it slipped my mind, but nevertheless! i am here today!
it has officially been a year since i (re)joined the simblr community, and boy am i glad i came back! it has been such a pleasure to meet so many kind people, share screenshots of my silly pixel people, and get inspired by many of you talented and wonderful angels <3 i was able to create some content of my own this year and achieve lots of things i am proud of myself for.
before i get into specifics, i do want to say a general thank you to everyone who has followed me, engaged with my posts, has just been a wonderful presence in my life. a thank you to everyone who shares their beautiful creations on here for us all to see <3
without further ado! here are some people i adore and love:
Last night, I started working on tagging simblrs that I'm inspired by and simblrs that I'm always happy to see interacting with my posts in some way. And these two circles are basically one and the same (so thanks, friends!) Tumblr wouldn't let me tag all of you in one post, so I had to split it up in two. Also, I'm going off memory so I'm sure there are people I'm forgetting but know that if I follow you, I appreciate you and the talent and enthusiasm you've shared with this community.
As some of you may remember, I took a break from simblr in the spring of this year. My personal life went from an all-time high to an all-time low by the time summer rolled in. Grief engulfed nearly every aspect of my life to the point where I felt like I was putting on my brave-face mask out in the "real world". I returned to this game and this community as an escape -- a distraction from the loss that seemed so prominent. But every time I played this game, or scrolled through tumblr and caught up with people's stories and gameplay, I felt like the grief was less noticeable even just temporarily.
There's the analogy of grief as a bouncing ball in a closed box. The box has a pain button inside of it and in the immediate aftermath of the loss, the ball takes up the entire space of the box, triggering the intense emotions associated with grief. As time goes on, the ball gets smaller and the ball doesn't always press on that pain button. This game and the simblr community helped make that ball feel smaller in the immediate aftermath of my loss. And I know it sounds kind of silly, but when you're confronted with something so unimaginable that you can't even begin to process, you can't belittle anything that helps you cope or brings you peace.
So that's why I'm so thankful for having this space to share our pixels and stories. Seeing the creativity as I scroll through my dashboard, I'm constantly inspired by how we all turn this game into our own little escape (even when we deliberately cause chaos for our sims -- better them than us, am I right?). I wish everyone good health and happiness in the new year, and I can't wait to see what you all bring to the dash in 2024.

@simlit - possibly the best "bachelor challenge" to ever exist. An incredible story with compelling characters, excellent writing, and stunning visuals. I binge-read all of COTS in one day, and whenever it updates, it's the highlight of my day.
@simgerale - Miranda is so incredibly talented. She makes the most beautiful sims, and her story Regal that just finished recently might just be my favorite story anyone has ever posted on tumblr. I've been following it since more or less day one. Also her legacy family is ADORABLE.
@softpine - the last of my top 3 stories on simblr. Everything Brandi writes is so incredibly detailed and filled with so much love. There is so much nuance and detail that goes into all of her posts, and all of her characters are delightfully complex. I binge-read the entirety of Camellia over two days, and it was a DELIGHTFUL experience.
@potionio - Omen makes some of the most amazing sims I've ever seen. Everything they make is GORGEOUS, from sims to builds to edits. Amazing alt fashion and spooky vibes all around. Also just an awesome friend.
@panicsimss - another amazing spooky simmer. Panic has gorgeous OCs, and I love everything she makes. Poppy and Hudson have my heart!!
@salemssimblr - Ash makes incredible renders, and is also just very kind. She's an awesome friend, and I'm so glad to have met them!!
@goldenwaves - Izzy is another incredible render-maker and editor. They also are the creator of some of the most fun and interesting dnd ocs I've ever had the pleasure of playing with and hearing about. Plus, her new story Heartbreakers is super awesome!!
@wileyfern - They post adorable gameplay, and their legacy family has been going strong for a long time now. Her current heir, Ocean, is super fun to follow!
@void-critters - Jay makes amazing edits and has some amazing dnd ocs that I love hearing about. They're also super kind and a great friend.
@warwickroyals - Ayanna's story is one of the only royal simblr stories I really follow very closely on here, and for good reason!! The level of nuance and commentary that goes into her story is very special. If you're going to follow a royal simblr, let it be this one!! Plus some very cool cc!!
@heartblobs - A very lovely historical simmer who just recently started a new decades challenge!! Ellie's current family is super cute, and I can't wait to see them grow!
@wildmelon - Lush makes some of the most gorgeous sims I've ever seen, as well as amazing edits!!! Also a critical role fan, which makes me happy.
@rebouks - Somnium very quickly became one of my favorite stories on simblr, and now Forever In Between is following in the foorsteps! Becca has adorable sims, and blends an excellent mix of gameplay and storytelling. She's also an INCREDIBLE pose maker.
@ghostputty - Ky makes INCREDIBLE edits, including those very famous eye edits. Also, their story, Deck of Fate, is fascinating, and I can't wait to read more!!
@raiiny-bay - Rai makes amazing renders, and their Monster Boys universe and lore is FASCINATING. I could read about the zombie boys for hours!
@arcanewonder - Sara's renders are on a whole 'nother level. Truly nothing compares. The fantasy vibes are immaculate! Plus, her simblreen treats from years past have saved my ass in decorating the castle for RTQ/ATQH.
@barbieaiden - Sam makes some of the most awesome renders I've ever seen, not to mention his stunning story and intriguing OCs. I love Sam and Aiden, am morbidly fascinated with Tristan and Kas, and am eagerly awaiting the day I get to hear about his pirate OCs.
@rainymoodlet - Shan's sims are all GORGEOUS, but Dan is truly the best of them all. Dan's bachelor challenge, KMIK, is amazing, and even though my boy may be out of the running, I'm very invested to see who ends up stealing Dan's heart.
@samssims - Sam is a pillar in this community. Her NSB family captured my heart right away, and her unique method of storytelling is so cool. Not to mention her poses, which are a must-have!
@laeska - Makes some of the best hairs in the community, and all totally free!! Her simblreen gifts this year were amazing, and I have all of her cc in my game.
@retro-plasma - Corn's sims are beautiful, and their gameplay posts are stunning! They truly have a talent for making things come alive!
@omgkayplays - A truly incredible simblr. Stunning builds, mindboggling edits, drop-dead-gorgeous sims, and a fascinating story are all reasons to give Kay a follow.
@seaslugsims - Their story is awesome, their cc is amazing and very useful, plus they're super kind and amazing!!!
@simandy - Ellen is literally the first simblr I followed, back when I joined this hellsite 5+ years ago. Her cc is amazing, and absolutely a must-have in my game.
I know I've missed people, but I think I've hit my limit on tagging people. Either that or tumblr's just throwing a fit at how long this post is.
