I decided to stick some single use plastics to Ellen’s face. I wanted to show the impact that our actions have on our environment. I believe that if we had to carry around every single use plastic item with us in our daily life we would never use them again. Single use plastics such as straws, coffee cups, plastic drinking cups and of course water bottles. Each of these are destroying our environment and I feel that people do not take bigger actions to prevent this as they feel that it is not an issue that should concern them as individuals. I wanted to show the physical harm that one plastic straw has, and how they will never biodegrade. I believe that this is relevant to my project of visual noise/pollution as it binds both together. We are polluting ourselves.
