This is our second set of baby birds this spring/summer. There are 4 of them and they are getting so big. We figure they will be leaving the nest soon. Really love that we have this great spot for the nest, that it is really safe for the birds but also perfect for us to watch them.

We think they are sparrows of some kind. If anybody with birb knowledge can help identify them it would be great. The mother is mostly brown with grey stripes and a small reddish spot on her front. Also, the 4 eggs were a bright blue color and fairly small.

Upgraded our bird feeder to a larger size, smaller one was getting cleared out too quickly. Got a good crowd of birbs that use it, had a pair of Blue Jays today, which I have never seen in our yard before.
