okay so i have a theory about the rooneys/avery and lyra

this theory involves kaylie potentially being alive/being lyras mother, and i am SO sorry to those who dont want that plot line, just know i dont either i just came up with this LOL

okay, so after avery got taken by the cult, (this also ties into @coffeexsmmrsblog ‘s theory) everybody (including myself dont worry lol) assumed that the next book would be centred around her. i think it may be a bit rooney centred, but thats all.

so what @coffeexsmmrsblog said, she said that avery may be being used as a scapegoat instead of the main “tool” that the cult needs. instead, LYRA would be the main component. she makes a lot of great points so i’d recommend u to check it out!!!

to tie into this, what is the ONE chess move that is mentioned multiple times in the og trilogy by both avery, and toby? queen to rook 5, aka misdirection. i think avery is being used to MISDIRECT the rest of the hawthornes. with the focus on avery, they would not notice nor even care about LYRA’s whereabouts. and here’s where i think the rooneys tie into this.

so, we all know that after the accident on hawthorne island, kaylie rooney was used as the “blame”. even though toby was the one who bought the accelerant, kaylies background with arson made her the perfect scapegoat.

do you know who else is mysteriously tied to alice, and who is conveniently the one that looks to blame in this entire situation? LYRA.

just like how tobias used averys daughter as a “misdirection” (LITERALLY HIS WORDS), alice would now be using kaylie’s daughter (lyra) as the scapegoat. the one to blame, the reject. and once all care towards lyra went out the window… that’d be when alice would be ready to strike.

kaylie and hannahs fates would then be used as averys and lyras; avery as the misdirection (which i think this book will connect to hannah in some way), and lyra as the scapegoat.

i think even jlb is trying to use averys classic misdirection with the cover!! any devoted tig fans recognize queen if spades as averys card, and the ring as hers and jamesons. generally, a lot of the book cover reflects her. but what if thats just another misdirection? what if we’re MEANT to go into the book thinking that its going to be about avery and hannah, when instead its about kaylie and lyra?

and all these hints about hannah still being alive could ALSO tie into this misdirection thing, as kaylie would be the alive one instead.

or im just dragging it but i just want a new plot line pretty please jlb 😁😁

I was a hardcore ENTP-A, but in the last three years I've become an INTP-A. Help.

I’m like 100% positive you can’t just like... change personalities unless (perhaps?) you literally have a split personality-- this would be super interesting to do research on, hm. 

But this aside, ENTPs are very introverted extroverts while INTPs are pretty conventionally introverted by the social definition of the words. Whether you are introverted or extroverted by the personality-type definition actually depends on whether or not your strongest function is internal or external. It’s hard to type young people because they’re still settling into themselves, but for some kiddos it’s totally obvious, and for others they slowly develop and come into their functions. So ya, keep this in mind!

...but fire emblem awakening is a delight that introduced me to the series that I then dragged several friends into? why are people hating on it? I just always like seeing fire emblem anything pop up on your blog. (yes, I'm aware people will wank about anything, and the purists more than anyone) so thank you for being positive about all these fandoms!

thank you!! i try to be ;; oh ya for a lot of people, myself included, awakening was our first one! the reason for that is actually the same as why a lot of people hate it. very few fe games were localized outside of japan and the ones that were had different gameplay. which makes sense caus like, things change?? in every series?? but anyway what bothered people most was 1 casual mode and 2 the support system. 

you know how the “classic” mode is supposed to be based off the original games? ya…so in every game before fe there is no casual mode. units who die Stay Dead Forever, and thats that. its supposed to be the Right Way to Play and people get mad that casual mode is even an option. literally the reason why i wont go back and play early games is caus im afraid of having to restart to save everyone lmao. but ya that was one of the biggest complaints ive seen. the second was the marriage system. people got annoyed or felt the game was too otome caus you can pair everyone up, and also lots of people didnt like the kid units. 

im not sure what that one person was referring to specifically, but whenever i hear fans complain about Real Fire Emblem Games these are the two points they pretty much always bring up. but the fact is that casual mode made the game more accessible and eliminated gatekeeping caus you no longer had to be Very Good to play, and the support system also made it more popular, and caus it was popular, we got more fe games. but ya i really liked fe13 too!! i have this one ludicrous poster of chrom i got signed by his va and i still laugh at it. i have a lot of good memories of fe13 and 14 and awakening especially was just a Really Good Time 

also, what got me to play the game was my friend coming to class one day looking horrified and just going “the cool mask guy im really into is actually not a guy it was a girl and she was my time traveling daughter from the future” and she had been trying to get me to play before that and i was never really interested?? but after hearing that i needed Answers so i bought it lmao
