#Oh They're Down Bad
Buck and Tommy moving in sync
Bro they were just fighting like 5 minutes ago
the fact that buffy and faith souls are literally tied together is fucking insane
"no one was there" "i'm here" and then they kissed
Still thinking about how Natasha came to Peggy’s funeral bc she “didn’t want Steve to be alone” which is so sweet and so telling about how much these two care about each other/how close they are by this point (not that marvel ever gave us much insight into their relationship - which I’ll never understand btw)
But here’s the thing- he wasn’t at the funeral alone
Sam literally came with him
But Natasha came anyway bc somehow they both knew that he needed *her*
But ya know that could mean nothing 🤷♀️🙃
Hi! I just wanted to say that your post about haikaveh dinamics felt like al hathams ult. i feel cut trapped in this carousel of thoughts abot them and the roof will come crushing down eventually. I love them so much, and your words reminded me of it. Beautiful
Choosing to start writing Haikaveh fanfic was simultaneously the best and worst decision I've ever made, because now my brain is forever thinking about Them with no way of stopping it, so it's my pleasure to bestow some of that onto you haha.
Since writing that post I've realized that Alhaitham isn't just the only one who lets Kaveh pursue his ideal of knowledge. Kaveh is also one of the only people Alhaitham respects enough as a scholar to find his perspectives relevant to his search for what Alhaitham believes is an objective, untainted truth. While Kaveh doesn't believe in an objective truth, his love of knowledge is so earnest that Alhaitham, who usually only researches solo, actively seeks Kaveh's perspective. So much so that Kaveh was the first and last person he ever did a joint research project with. We all know how that turned out, but still.
Though Alhaitham doesn't think humankind is a vessel for knowledge, he is still the only one Kaveh can turn to for true intersubjective discourse. Though Kaveh doesn't think the truth can exist without a vessel, his love of learning is still so earnest that Alhaitham finds his insights relevant to understanding the objective truth.
Though their perspectives on knowledge are completely contradictory and in many ways unreconcilable, somehow they also perfectly match each other's ways of thinking without even realizing it, in a way they've never experienced with anyone else.
Things that can never be integrated really are what constitute the two sides of the mirror. Man.
My other babies reunited 🥲
Quit being cowards, Marvel! Make them cannon in the new era!
