Okay, let's do this one more time. this is gonna be long, buckle in. If you don't read all of it before saying shit to me you’re weak and will die in three days

I'm tired of explaining myself over and over again so the next time someone asks me about any of this I'm just gonna link them here. trying to explain any of this is a fucking nightmare but we gotta start somewhere so imma just go in chronological order

The slur screenshots from 2022: I don't know where they're from, that convo was not with me or anyone I know. disgusting to see though and any hope I've had for some improvement on Sai's end has gone out the window, holy shit

The slur screenshots from January 2024: conversation I had with her in a friend's server (not mine). Will not say who it belongs to because I don't really feel like dragging unrelated people into this. The full convo was posted by me a year ago on Twitter and yet people are acting like all the stuff inside is new information or I'm "leaving out context". I'm not you dumbfucks just don't pay attention to shit. pretty sure someone has reposted them to tumblr already so I'm not gonna do it again myself

The discussion was centered around the word “queer” but the gripe most of us were having was queer being treated as a slur but “retard” being like, perfectly acceptable. that and desperately trying to explain what reclaiming means. This is how things got to the point where we were like, talking about reclaiming the n-word specifically. For the record, I still stand by what I said. I wouldn't care if it was reclaimed because (surprise!!) we as black people already have reclaimed it! it's just that it's reclaimed for black people only, something that i just know pisses off racists lmao

Eventually that convo kinda died off and we all just kept going as usual. fast forward to like, May of 2024. Someone asks if it's okay to post some Greg x Pearl in my server. I've got a real strong no-anti policy in my server and let anyone post whatever ship they want in the artwork channels as long as it's SFW (note that I do not count dubcon, noncon, or incest as SFW). Me and another mod tell ‘em to go ahead. Not even like 30 seconds after it's posted, Sai comes in with "wtf [insert user who posted here] I thought we had an agreement!"

and so immediately I’m like. what is the issue here. what agreement. The post isn't against server rules and also it's the most nothing burger art ever of these two characters, they're practically just standing there. Through some more back and forth I figured out that Sai and this user had some pre-established arrangement that they couldn't post any art of their OTP if Sai was also in that server. Okay fine and dandy but there's a few issues here:

1) this is a personal thing but being told I cant post my art in places with dozens or even hundreds of people because one guy doesn't like it is ridiculous and I’d never agree to that, what the hell

2) if the mods approve of a post, you, as a random person in that server, should not start and then continue to keep arguing about it because you're not the rule-maker there. You wanna be in charge like that get your own damn house dawg

3) just because you have a private agreement with someone, that doesn't extend it to the entire server. yeah okay, you've gotten one person to not post something, the other 200 people here don't have to agree with that and I wouldnt make them. just cause OP wont post that Pearl x Greg art now doesn't mean someone else won't later

4) if you're this upset about fictional characters that have zero impact on your day to day irl life I dont think you have the right to call anyone tenderqueer lmao nor be in a server with a very well-established open shipping policy. The cognitive dissonance to act like Hazbin Hotel (fucking hate this fandom) critics are sensitive babies while simultaneously claiming to unironically be triggered over two characters kissing is a level of hypocrisy I aspire to achieve

So the original artist decides to delete their post and is pretty clearly ashamed about having posted it all, which is the exact opposite of what I want since it was kind of difficult to convince them it was okay to post it in the first place

Needless to say pretty much everyone online at the time agrees this is Very Uncool™ and starts being like "yo wtf is your problem it's just some ship art" and Sai doubles down on this being intrinsically homophobic, like this one fan paring is somehow going to remove Pearl’s gayness from canon, and we're all shaming her for not being a fan of it. Which is not what's happening here. dislike a ship? Fine. Tell people they can't post art after the guy who owns the server you're talking in approves it? not fine

She asks for the ship to be spoiled in the future and while I personally think that's kind of silly it's a much more reasonable request than not posting it at all, and everyone agrees that's okay. I ask for the talk to be dropped in that channel and be moved to DMs, and then time out Sai for five minutes because she keeps trying to argue about it. (unlike a lot of other servers I actually utilize my mod tools. if someone needs to shut the fuck up for a minute I’m okay enforcing that, it's harmless and makes it clear that I’m not asking, I’m telling)

She comes into my DMs to complain that I was being mean for *checks notes* not being super charitable when she was throwing a fit about a ship she doesn't like and timing her out for trying to argue with my mods about our server rules in the #artwork channel instead of DMs like i had asked. surprise surprise, I really dont want a bunch of people arguing in my artwork channel about shipping! When I stand my ground that, no, I'm not giving you special treatment, you did something stupid and got the world's tiniest slap on the wrist for it, calm down, and no, I'm not sorry for not giving you special treatment over a ship you don't like, she gets so upset she then goes back into my server to complain more in #artwork that I timed her out and that we (as in, the people online at the time) were too mean to her.

We explain that no one was being mean to her, and quite frankly she was the one who was rude first. She even tags specific people who hadn't actually *said* anything, just put a :thistbh: react on someone else' s message. Still we we're firm in our stance. Basically, no one was willing to budge about this, and she was so upset about it she left the server

Now, we still shared a few other servers, but didn't really talk to each other beyond that point.

Fast forward again to September of 2024. This is where those screenshots from early 2024 come into play again

Im scrolling on twitter, see a post from polypearls joking about Pearl x Greg. I giggle, it's a funny post, whatever. check the comments. see Sai being a lame anti about it, roll my eyes. Keep looking through comments, remember that hey wait, didn't Rebecca draw this ship? Wasn't that leaked on 4chan some months ago? I dig up those images from Discord and reply to polypearls saying that, “hey, actually, this has some merit behind it. Becky herself has drawn it and at some point in early production they were considering doing it (source: Raven, though you'll have to pay 25 dollars to see it)”. obviously this did not make it in the show lol but regardless it is sanctioned Becky Pearl x Greg art

Sai is not happy about this, and this also ends up leading to what I jokingly refer to as Lesbian 9/11. Very funny seeing the reactions to that art and I hope the lesbian femcels of the world seethe about this until the day they die

This whole thing keeps escalating into like, a really long-winded and imo kinda pointless argument. Essentially Sai accuses me of being homophobic over this (fucking que?? I have a girlfriend??? what are you on about??). Now on the first day of this back and forth I decided: "Actually. this is like. really fucking stupid. I'm not gonna keep arguing in circles". she's getting ratioed in like every fucking tweet and several people are seeing this exchange and are painfully confused on what the fuck her problem is. Even polypearls, the original person I replied to, is like "Bro what are you going on about". So i just.... dont reply. and for like the next 12 hours it was fine

but then, because I guess white bitches love to fight over nothing, she comes BACK!! AFTER I HAD ALREADY DROPPED IT!! She replies to her own tweet and tags me telling me the only reason I was so mean and cruel to her is that I ship stevencest and post art of it on Discord and I hate women! and this is where the whole "Stevencest gooner" bullshit starts. fucking insane behavior. We WILL come back to this because I have a lot to say about that in particular

So then I'm like, “actually y'know what? This is ridiculous. You're mad about the pearl x greg, you're mad about “queer” and “yuri” being accepted terms, you're mad cause you get no pussy and I do. fine, whatever. What we're not gonna do is start moralizing about shipping fictional characters. That's dumb as shit, and imo if we're really gonna make a big stink about shit on Discord, I think it's only fair to point out that in the discussion back in early 2024, the problem wasn’t that I personally had beef with you saying slurs, even racial ones, it was that you were seriously trying to argue that “yuri” and “queer” are mean, bad words to use in reference to gay people, but “retard” is not a slur against disabled people. You wanna have a dirty mouth, fine, but make it make sense. Have some consistency”

and when I mentioned the racial slurs, of course Sai was like "yeah, well, I’ve never said those, nice try". So my friends, who have been watching this back and forth over the last 24 hours, immediately are like-

-because lo and behold, that wasn't actually a “private” convo you had, it was in a server with like 90 other people, they just didn't talk much in there. So they reply with the tea

And that is where that screenshot first got posted.

So now it's like, the number one response anyone has whenever Sai says stupid shit, as it should be. If she had dropped that argument back then instead of coming back for round two when no one asked because round one wasn't enough, maybe she wouldn't be getting dragged all over the internet right now. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes

Moving a little more forward to this year and the arrival of what I call the “Lily Orchard Saga”. Technically that first Lily vid dropped before this, but it wasn't relevant to me. Only thing I knew about it was the wips she’d spam of her video essay in my #steven-universe channel when she was back in my server. The reason why it's not relevant until around this point in the timeline, though, is that suddenly, I'm getting a lot of anon hate in my tumblr and strawpage. Like a stupid amount of it

And almost all of it keeps pointing back to Sai.

I do some snoopin. First of all, she's deep into some “Lily Orchard critical” bs that I dont have the energy to unravel. okay fine whatever, I dont care about Orchard. I DO care about being accused of A) being seriously involved in any of it myself and B) being called a pedophile over it. So I did more digging. I look around, ask around, call in some favors, start investigating because I desperately need to know why any of this is being tied to me or why anyone who spends their time online malding about some dipshit who peaked on Youtube 5 years ago cares if I exist. I also start sniping every single person who even looks Sai’s direction cause I’m sick of getting stupid shit sent to my inbox

People start mistaking me for someone else that runs an anti-Sai blog (I think I know who it is but unless I’m dead sure I’m not gonna name names). Again, whatever, I block everyone and just kinda move on from all that. once in blue moon I see someone on Youtube spreading blatantly false information (looking directly at Spacefrog and his 50 alts he uses to send anons to my inbox and suck Sai's dick 24/7. DS9 deserves so much better) but otherwise I'm mostly just doing my own shit. I'm still getting anon hate with pedo accusations but anyone sending me shit on anon instead of saying it to my face is a subhuman pussy that deserves to be eaten alive by rats anyway

Fast forward yet again to a few months ago. I catch wind of, and I cant even belive this, fucking grooming accusations??? I'm unironically getting accused of grooming a teen who was in my server??? HUH?? I can't even recall the last time I talked to anyone under the age of 18 that wasn't one of my niblings 1 on 1.

Turns out this is coming from someone that had left my server several weeks prior, a person that pretty much everyone agreed was annoying as shit because their brain had been sufficiently rotted from the inside out from TikTok culture. This is also when I found out they were not old enough to be in there anyway! My server is 16+ and they claimed this grooming happened around when they were 15?? given that the 16+ barrier is supposed to stop the bulk of braindead kids from entering my server, I guess my philosophy was right and I should keep doing that cause damn near everyone under that age I’ve had the displeasure of talking to has been nothing but a fat pain in my ass

At this point tho, not too many people are paying those allegations much attention, so even after I addressed it I kept it anonymous and under a read more cut. Didn't see the point in putting some rando on blast, especially because they're so young. "They prolly don't know any better", I assumed, "I’ll ask nicely for them to maybe like, stop doing this type of shit because it's not something to joke about"

Fast forward a little bit more one final time, to within this last week. Sai deletes her Twitter (twitter rejoices) and gets kicked out of a bunch of places (wow, the person with a history of leaving places or getting kicked out of them for being an abrasive bitch gets kicked out yet again for that + a dash or racism, who would've seen that coming)

This kid has decided to bring the grooming up again and again and again because this new Sai drama has given them an excuse to beg for attention like a dog. I'm once more getting pedo accusations in my inbox

Mx. Rustaar is lying through their fucking teeth and I'll happily go through every single interaction they've ever made in my server to prove it.

Underage cannibalism? doesn't exist in my server. literally not a thing. No one has ever drawn anyone under the age of 18 doing anything related to cannibalism, and Rustaar wasn't ever in the position to make this claim this anyway because they're underage and wouldn't be able to see the channels that allow gore, so I have no idea why they're telling people it exists at all

This interaction where they were told to go to a dead dove channel after posting something inappropriate for the channel they were in? Never happened, at least not to them. The closest instance I could find was them talking about lesbians scissoring in my general chat and me telling them to knock it off because that's obviously not appropriate in anyone's SFW chat. saying stupid random shit in chat in an effort to attention whore was a constant issue with this kid and it clearly hasn't stopped being a problem. TikTok is the worst thing to happen to Gen Alpha and I hope i never have to deal with anyone that fucking annoying and unfunny ever again

Now y’know who this did happen to? An adult user named Val, who posted a sticker of someone about to (jokingly) shoot themselves in the mouth. I told them that was too much for the NSFW VC and said "that's funny but better suited for a dd chat, not this one". That person eventually left because we (as in, the server as a whole), wouldn’t disavow Vivziepop for being a piece of shit. Yeah, like she sucks but I don't really care. Go whine about it somewhere else

this being brought up by Rustaar at all though, makes me wonder if Val is just an alt for Rustaar. they've lied about their age once already clearly, why would they not do it again? Both also had that awful trait of thinking random brainrot shit is funny and wanting to be in the middle of everything. Keep in mind this would've been right before I enforced ID verification for the non-SFW channels, so if someone wasn't too stupid they could lie about it. Just a theory though

Finally, there's no such thing as, and I quote, being “groomed into proshipping". Not what proshipping means and definitely not what grooming means

Literally anyone who follows me knows I ship stevencest. this isn't a secret and never has been. It's not the only thing I ship, I ship plenty of 'normal' things and draw plenty of converse art in addition to stevencest. I also just.... Draw lots of regular ass fanart unrelated to shipping. Hell my main passion project right now is a typical fancomic. that's where most of my art time goes

You're welcome to think that's weird, but I've never seen anyone give me a reason for why it's morally dubious besides just like, homophobia. Seriously, every single reason boils down to that, every single time. No.1 argument people try to use: "they're minors." Okay cool would you care if one was a girl? The top ship rn on AO3 for RaC is Ratchet x Rivet, which is the RaC equivalent of Sven x Sonny (two of my AU Steebs that, spoiler, will be a canon pairing for WTL). Selfcest is so common in the Lorax and Undertale fandoms that it’s practically is the most-well known parts of those fandoms. Doesnt surprise me as much as I want to cause fandom's been fucked since 2020 and black people have been fucked since humans could recognize what a difference was but that doesnt make it any less infuriating
