oh nothing just crying over sam looking up at dean with nothing but love and understanding even as dean holds death’s scythe above him… in his final moments, sam continuing to make sure his big brother knows that no matter what he does or how it ends, sam will always see the real him as good…

and dean doing the exact same in swan song, just refusing to leave sam’s side no matter what he (lucifer) does to him. both of them loving the other so deeply that they’d rather die by their brother’s hand than ever abandon him…
