Guards shoving in a manacled, stumbling whumpee before the king, kicking him to his knees and forcing him to bow so low his forehead hits the flagstones

Fist in the hair to yank whumpees head up

Or fingernails bruising into the cheeks for the same goal

Whumpee frustrated to rage that they aren't being allowed to just walk straight, instead they have to throw them into walls and slam them down into seats

Looking up with a livid glare at main whumper when they get there

Whumpee starting to speak, "wait, just--" gets yanked so hard the words catch before he staggers forward

"I can walk." Whumpee growls next time they come for him. Snarky guard--"well, you're to be dragged."

When the whumpers step away from whumpee, now tied up and gagged on the floor, panting through his nose

Humiliating punishments like whipping while whumpee is tied up like this, whumpee floundering awkwardly away with a muffled shriek at every strike

Holding whumpee's arms so whumper can punch them over and over in the stomach

A lineup of prisoners, but whumpee is the only one that gets thrown and kicked into position

Whumpuary #25: Limping

It’s a mild sprain. You’ve had worse. April and Casey have waited long enough already. Don thinned his lips against a grimace as he teeter-tottered tentatively along the roofline. A poor, precarious showing for someone trained with a ninja’s grace but at least he was still standing, gathering lights.

Taking down Christmas decorations was always a chore. Mikey dragged his feet, despondent about the holiday season ending, but the turtles had committed to helping their friends get it done. A promise was a promise.

Don was also struggling not to drag his feet after last night, when a Purple Dragon savagely hooked his ankle with a crowbar. Thankfully his brothers hadn’t witnessed it and paid no mind when he took up the rear afterward, leaning discreetly on his bō. He’d iced and wrapped his tender, puffy ankle in the privacy of the very early hours. This morning’s brisk weather called for boots anyway so he could keep it tucked away.

The dull, relentless pulse with every shuffling, seesawing step wouldn’t stop him. If he paced himself he could finish before it got too bad! If he concentrated on his task intently enough to crowd out the pain—

He may then be so focused on neatly looping the light strand that he paid no attention to the snow softening in sunlight. A sharp skid of his boot, a juddering roll and a fiery pop and all the stifled winces and hisses culminated into a scream as he buckled, tumbling into the snowbank below.

“What was that?!”

“What’s happening out h—Donnie!”

“Whoa! You okay? You need a hand? Here, up we go—”

“Aagh! No, let me down, let me sit! I can’t…I-I don’t think I can stand. Ow, shell!”

“Raph, c’mon, help me lift him—gently! Let’s get him inside.”

The story behind my username (part 1)

When I was 12, I had to partake in mandatory physical torture education. My class was playing “field hockey”, one of those games were you run around whacking a tiny ball with a stick (sexual innuendo not intended). When we were on break, we would sit on top of the folded bleachers, which look like this:

Ours were about that height, probably 7 feet above the ground. Instead of climbing down, my ADHD ass thought it would be a great idea to jump down. I did so, and promptly rolled my left ankle with a sickening crunch. It was sprained.

However, because I’m autistic, I have a weird way of interpreting pain. I have an extremely high pain tolerance, to the extent that it’s dangerous. /nj

So I continued throughout my day, playing in the game, and then school, without really telling anyone. Sure, it was swollen and bruised and sore, but that’s not bothering me, so why should I mention it?

I even went to ballet class that night. We were practicing these one legged turns, and when it came to our left side, I obviously couldn’t support my body weight. I then again fell and rolled my ankle. If it wasn’t sprained before, it certainly was then.

I never told my parents or anybody, mostly because I didn’t want to disrupt my daily routine. I also have a connective tissue disorder, so my ankle would never heal properly to begin with. So I meandered through life with a sometimes angry ankle and that was that. Or so we thought…
