everybody talks about dain and abyss twin but never how much he's fond of the traveler (n paimon) too despite them barely calling each other "friends" (and i don't think it's due to dain projecting lingering attachment to the abyss twin onto them or whatever)

It's never a good day when I remember Annie thought Finnick was dead long before he was. She had seen the announcement by Caesar and it probably hit her so unbelievably hard. Only to see Katniss and the remaining members of the Star Squad and think there was a chance Finnick was actually alive. To have that hope when she hears that the announcement was false. Only to be hit with the bad news all over again
refined their uniforms!
Hunger games question: What even was the point of that Star Squad mission in Mockingjay??
Katniss was obviously motivated by vengeance, and probably gale and finnick too. But...why did the very experienced personnel from 13 agree to it? Surely they would be able to reason out that the rebels would win the war and kill snow anyways. What even was the point of the whole journey? It just got ppl FINNICK killed. The whole thing was just pointless and out of the blue imo.
