Again, i gave her back her green colors, because I love green on her

I thought it would be cool to add a bit hip hop fashion into the outfit. Like she could go and dance any time

Next one, my beautiful Aisha. While I love her Skintone with that Aquatic Blue, her Colour is , was and should always be green. I don't know why they had to push that "Water is blue" thing that much. Her Powers are Bubblegum Pink and Water itself doesn't have a Colour...

The Colour scheme is the biggest change in this redesign. I just tried to get rid of this infamous ugly pants and make the silhouette softer.

I also made her hair darker and browner again. Pinkyfication hitted again.

WINX CLUB REDESIGNS PART ONE

I SPENT OVER A WEEK WITH ALL NIGHTERS AND AN UPCOMING HOUSE INSPECTION- I GOTTA SPEND ANOTHER WEEK ON TECNA, BLOOM, ROXY AND DAPHNE-

Does anyone know where I can rewatch Winx, other then YouTube (I started to on YouTube but then season two came and suddenly Aisha is Layla- I grew up with my girl Aisha and refuse to watch with anything but 😭😭😭)

🌊💚~Aisha, Fairy of Waves~💚🌊

THE LAST REDESIGN IN THE SERIES!!! (Unless I feel compelled to redesign the other characters :3) AND I LOVED HOW SHE TURNED OUT!!!

I wanted to make sure I honoured and did Aisha justice especially after the years and years of Rainbow as a company white washing her and butchering her character. I made her hair curlier while adding some box braids to her civillian design and braids with pearls on her fairy form, I did my best to research the hair textures and styles while I redesigned her.

For her civillian look, I wanted to keep the sporty dance style that Aisha is associated with! Her being the most athletic in the group and all! So I gave her a light green swimsuit, reminescent of the green scene in her original design with a cropped seafoam green hoodie and skirt in top as if she was going to a dance class after a swim? Adding some leg warmers and accessories to add to that vibe. I also gave her a duffle bag for all her athletic needs and kept her hair up so it doesnt get in the way of her activities!

For her fairy look, I tried to incorporate the sea and mermaid themes in her design with long mermaid hair, a flowy skirt, pearls and shells. Given her being the Fairy of Waves and canonically being related to mermaids, I wanted to show some oceanic design elements to add to that connection! I made her wings like a liquid shape to tie into her powers as well! I also made sure to incorporate the light and dark greens from her original fairy form design in with the seafoam green!

I really really enjoyed drawing these redesigns and I'm excited to do more of these in the future for other series maybe! It's been so nice trying to design my own version of the Winx girls after the reboot trailer further dissapointing me alongside the AI allegations.
