more autistic ford pines. ps. this is just fanfic so no offense. pps I'm autistic so I'm kinda wrighting on my own experience. ppps I'm dyslaxic so sorry for any spelling errors.

Stan and ford came back to gravity falls the day before the kids were coming, so they could get everything ready for them. Soos let Stan take over the mystery shake for the summer, so him and melody could take a vacation.

Stan and ford were excited to see the kids. ford was kinda nervous. though he loved the kids, he kinda started to unmask while on the boat. it was just him and Stan. and stan already knew all of fords stimms, so ford didn't need to hide them anymore. but he didn't want the kids to see him like that. though Stan reassured him, saying the kids wouldn't juge him. but Ford still was nervous.

the next day the kids arrived.

Mabel and dipper: GRUNKEL STAN! GRUNKEL FORD!

Stan and ford: KIDS!

they all went in side, Mabel and dipper told Stan and ford about what they did back in California. and Stan and ford told the kids what they did on the stan'o war. a bit later Ford started to scrunch and unscrunch his nose.

mabel: are you ok grunkel Ford?

ford: oh, yes, sorry,

stan: he's fine. its just a new stimm.

Mabel: stimm?

Stan: do you know what a stimm is?

Mabel: yes. but I thought only autistic people did it?

ford: well everyone stimms in one way or another. but yes I am autistic. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, I just didn't know how you kids would react.

Mabel: OMG! that's great gunkel ford. you don't need to be sorry, I'm glad you told us at your own pace.

dipper: one of my friends are autistic. and I've learned a lot about how to help them. maybe I could help you too?

ford: that's a nice offer dipper, but I don't want to be a nuisance.

Mabel: WHAT!

dipper: you will never be a nuisance grunkel Ford.

ford: thank you kids.

dipper: you look kinda figgetey. my friend somtimes needs to get away from people and stimm. he calls it a stimm break. do you need a stimm break grunkel Ford?

ford: um well, we are in the middle of a conversation. I don't want to interrupt.

dipper: my friend says that if he ignores when he needs a stimm break, then he could later have a meltdown. are you sure you don't need a break?

ford: well maybe just a minute.

dipper: do you want to be alone? sometime my friend doesn't like to stimm alone.

ford: thank you dipper. but I think I will go alone.

dipper: that's ok grunkel Ford. whatever makes you the most comfortable.

ford smiled, then walked into the living room. he started flapping his hands agressively. after a few minute he came back into the kitchen looking much more energetic. he talked more. was happier. and didn't fidget as much. once it was time for bed, ford went up to dipper.

ford: thank you dipper, your advice really helped.

dipper: I have learned a lot about autism. maybe we can talk about it tomorrow?

ford: that would be wonderful.
