Since I keep seeing this whole Ibuprofen/Naproxen discourse being repeated over and over again by people that dont know what they are talking about, I would like to give my two cents as a licensed pharmacist.
First of all, before saying the boils is caused by allergic reaction to ibuprofen, looks up the differences between allergic hives and shingles. They are two different things that you can simply know is different if you just look at the visual symtomps. You will immediately notice if Buck's boils is caused by allergic reaction, or caused by virus/bacteria.
Second, while both being in the same drug class, both are different drugs. If you are allergic to one drug, you may or may not be allergic to the other drugs. Its all depend on your body reactions. To those who have no idea, you either go to doctor to do skin test for it (or the other allergic test that I forgot the name of), or you simply treated all the other stuff that has relation to your allergen as another allergen. One may be allergic to shrimp, but not fish, but they will say they are allergic to all seafood because testing it is inconvenient in some cases. Like if you are allergic to something, you will avoid that, or if you don't, that means you got knowledge that you are not allergic to that.
Third, as you can see from my explanation above, this show has a very surface level knowledge about these drugs and allergic stuffs. So if you try to dig deeper into this by looking and accusing it with your own also surface level knowledge, you will look stupid and ridiculous instead. Why?Bullshiting your way around someone who knew the subject will not work. Try telling an astronaut that the earth is flat, or telling medical staff that vaccine is dangerous.
Even I think its a waste of time to look into the whole discourse because its like looking at an elementary student speaking like they knew pharmacotherapy. Clown speaking nonsense.
First respondent/firefighter themselves has to suspend their disbelief (or even stopped watching because its not realistic). You think they want to think deep about something they throw out in one scene and most likely forget about?

what's the deal with the François and Connor stuff? I only know people are being nasty about them possibly being together but I don't understand Why it would get such negative reactions. or if they're actually together at all
i mean i am playing telephone here (people are reporting to me drama that other people are creating on twitter) so i have no real idea lol. but here's why i would assume people are creating drama:
some people can't tell the difference between characters and real people. they think hudson and connor should be together because their fictional characters are together in a television show.
some people can't tell the difference between real person fiction and real people's lives. they think hudson and connor should be together because they like imagining hudson and connor together (because the friendship dynamic is fun). the existence of francois is a "threat" to their ship and that threat must be neutralized by... *checks notes* relentlessly harassing and bullying the real people involved until those people's behavior conforms with the fictional characters people made up in their head
idk how to phrase this but sometimes... women who ship m/m ships... are lowkey like pretty homophobic? or have really rigid ideas about how queer men should act/behave/date/whatever? and i am sure there is some degree of that at work here
