Shadow despises sunflowers. Absolutely loathes them. They’re obnoxiously big and no matter where you put them they only face the sun which leads to a limit way to arrange them! But what ticks him off the most is how they remind him of a certain hedgehog down to the tee.

Shadow is aware of his immortality. He’s also keenly aware of the mortality of those around him. Flowers die all the time, especially sunflowers. So why does he bother growing and tending to them all the time? He’s already noticed it. A greyish blue quill adorned his beautiful blue quills, even if shadow hates him he can’t say his quills aren’t beautiful. They shine in the sun and reflect to whatever he’s nearby like the ocean.

You know. It’s funny how shadow can sit here and crazy enough speak sweet nothings and praises for that hedgehog.

You’d think he’d remember his name. Gosh. What is his name?

Nicholas? Nic? It’s something Nic. Why can’t he remember. He just saw him.

New character au!!!!!

His name is Sunflower and hes basically a little sun who romes the forests and yeh.

No he doesn't have any "parts" but I was not gonna make him naked lol.

This character was inspired by prologue/epilogue from @vacantfields!!!! So you guys can interact with him in the asks!!! So you cab get to know him and all. But be careful he can be a bit... evil :).

Coming out of a reread of Sunflower (as one does) and sliding into your ask box to ask: what WOULD have happened if Ritsu left Mob during the Claw "revolution" or whatever? They're so tied up in each other in the story and even in the flashbacks but when Ritsu talks about it during their therapy session he talks like he WOULD have done it. That he didn't know if Mob would've wanted to help them so he would've left with Shou and Teru to go fight Claw on their own, without him. It got me thinking like,,,,,how would THAT have gone? Not at all well, I imagine, but I am incredibly curious 👀

Saying that is actually more of a #cope for Ritsu, it helps him feel like he has a sense of control if he imagines that he could have made other choices and isn't debilitatingly emotionally dependent on his brother's company. He's trying to feel like his own person while still also keeping the security of always having his favourite person around, like having his cake and eating it too

I haven't reread it so I'm not sure I was able to get it across in my old writing but that is how I imagine it at least X)

If it actually did happen, if he left or something happened with Mob, I think he'd regret it and crumble immediately, or get very closed off and be a shell of himself. He got his "independence" but it was more like having a crutch ripped away before his legs had healed

They absolutely did make those plans for real but I think that both Shou and Teru had Big Doubts on whether Ritsu could really handle that, meanwhile Ritsu doesn't WANT to be self-aware that he couldn't do it so he chose not to acknowledge it. He would've had to face that when it was already too late

I feel like Shou always knew he'd be number 2 and felt at peace with it, while Teru always knew he'd have to fight to even be on the list and was willing to do that

But Ritsu could never quite cope with Mob placing anyone or anything above him, and Mob would just sort of swallow it and believe that if Ritsu placed anything above him it's the right call because Ritsu is good & smart and Mob doesn't deserve anything good

I also think if there was a situation where Ritsu and Mob ended up facing each other in genuine battle, Mob would be forced by the organization and Ritsu would be forced by his sense of justice. Mob would probably let Ritsu kill him because he thinks that's what's best for everyone and it'd be a way to "pay Ritsu back" for the kindness and support Mob felt undeserving of, as if it'd somehow be a good thingy for Ritsu to kill him and not the ultimate two-way betrayal

Lets start this Yap session of all the lore off-! :3

Note! This was made while V1 or V2 Eclipse was alive! He is the main villain in this!!

Let's start this story off with his sick mother it was a surprise to the king and queen they didn't want to lose their first child and they needed a cure fast! The king ordered his guards to find something to help his wife and child! They search day and night for weeks until they finally find a sunflower glowing unlike any other flowers they carefully take it out of the ground with the roots taking it back to the queen and carefully cutting the head of the flowers off putting it in water and helping the queen and anyone else who needs it! Soon the prince was born they named him sun after the sunflower they used to save his life the queen and king were excited to finally have their first child the prince of their kingdom! Soon they set their child to rest after a long day someone snuck into the castle and tried cutting the child's hair...It didn't work they took the child needing to stay young locking that child away in a tower in the woods hidden anytime sun asked his father why he can't leave he always gets the response "it's dangerous my little sunflower" after 16 years of not finding there child Suns parents adopted 3 boys and a girl just to fill that void of losing there only child sun is now 16 and excited for his birthday to coming up! He asks his father to leave but is told no and it starts an argument until sun decides to have his father get him paint so he has something new to paint the walls of his tower not like they are empty he paints them all the time just to past up time whenever his father is away
