𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 | It’s Pancake Day on Tuesday! As I have something non-pancake related to do on that day I had to move forward my celebrations, so on Friday I visited @balanssohosociety to try theirs. 3 options; bacon, banana, or berries, the latter being the ones I went for. A mix of raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries, with a delicious golden syrup, sprinkled with red and white icing. Which pancakes do you usually go for? In pancake form, you can enjoy the tasty flavors of chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. For a cozy breakfast or brunch treat, these fluffy pancakes are great.

Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup rolled oats. 2 tablespoons brown sugar. 1 teaspoon baking powder. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1 cup buttermilk. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 large egg. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 1/4 cup chopped walnuts optional. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Instructions: All-purpose flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt should all be mixed together in a bowl. Mix the egg, buttermilk, and melted butter together in a different bowl. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix them together just until they are mixed. If you want to add walnuts or chocolate chips, chop them up and mix them in. Set a griddle or nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and use cooking spray or butter to lightly coat it. For every pancake, put 1/4 cup of the batter on the griddle. Once the top starts to bubble, flip it over and cook the other side until it's golden brown. If you want, you can serve the pancakes warm with extra chocolate chips, maple syrup, and oats on top.
