Hi friends. A few weeks ago I got an anon asking me how tumblr folk can help me with my current health and monetary woes.
To recap, in case you don’t know, the Trump administration cut funding for non-profits and as a result I very suddenly, and without warning from my boss, lost my job. During this time, my cat had to have 2 surgeries and drained all of my savings.
Additionally, I found a lump in my throat that has turned out to be a larger sized nodule in my thyroid. On the scale of 1-6 of it being cancerous it’s a 3. Meaning, it’s borderline. Because of this I need to get a scan done to see if I need a biopsy performed on it.
The combination of unemployment in this economy and such a massive health scare is taking a toll on me in a number of ways and I think it’s time I let down my walls and do what I don’t like to do, which is ask for help. A mutual aid request, I guess. I have always given help to others, whether it be in my personal life or work life, I hardly ever ask for help. This is a time where I need help because I am pouring from an empty cup.
Here are some pieces of mine that I would like to try and make prints of. I would love for these to go to homes where they’ll be admired and loved. Click on each piece to learn a little bit more about them :)

This was a really hard post and request for me to make but I’m reminding myself that it takes a village.
