I'm Avery from Pokémon Sword/Shield. My family in that life constantly emotionally abused me for being born with only Telekinesis instead of every ability in the book like them. Imagine how devastated I felt when I was born in this life only to wind up with a similar family who did the same thing to me for being neurodivergant. I'm too exhausted from the new family's abuse to cope the old way by putting up my old proud personality Light Screen. At least my old family started to accept me when I became Gym Leader. I've been in an on and off Bede kinshift for around 2-3 days now and it's just ugh. IRL events have been extremely,, shaky? So I'm just,, trying to focus on my Pokémon but.

I wish I could just go to my usual hiding spot in the Glimwood Tangle and brush my Rapidash's mane. Take some time to myself and just disappear for a few hours. I want Raihan or Hop,, Raihan didn't understand all the way but he still treated me like family for some reason and Hop was always just,, perfect to me.

I am just trying to vibe and then I get kin memories of flinching around Ms Opal whenever she moved too quickly or raised a hand around me because I was so accustomed to Oleana and Rose's abuse. Oleana was a lot more physical than Rose but. Still. Seeing Ms Opal raise an eyebrow and question why I would freeze up and flinch is,, scary. She dropped the subject but she's so hard to read I wouldn't have known if she figured out why I would flinch or not
