see this is the problem we have with them

sysmeds/anti-endos believe they're the ultimate authority on plurality despite not being a medical expert, and they'll scream about we're supposedly 'fake' without offering actual facts or evidence to back that up. they think that DID/OSDD-1 are the only valid forms of plurality, even though literal psychiatrists have stated for *years* that non-disordered plurality exists.

endogenic systems aren't fake and the science is on our side, and the people who are trying to argue otherwise are just talking out of their ass. ignore and block them because eventually you'll just earn their ire and you'll start to get the hate anons and the suibaiting from them.

It seems like every community has its gatekeepers, and unfortunately, the plurality community has many. I almost wonder if sysmeds/anti-endos are afraid that non-traumatic systems will somehow “invalidate” their own?

Kin vs Plurality To Me

Keep in mind these are my experiences, so if you relate to them cool! But I am aware I am likely a minority, not a majority

First off I kin to cope mostly and I do choose most of my kin types, my mains being fictional characters, vampire kin & angel kin (in the past, also doll kin)

I found out I had kin types before I found out I was multiple

I also have alters who kin, but since I am not them I can not speak on their experiences & I often do not relate to their kins or their reason for being a sub-genre of kin

I am not great at terminology, so please correct me as I would hate to misuse terms that are for spiritual or psychological purposes only

My kin experiences do not invalidate my plurality, and yes I can co-exist as both! So can anyone.

My kins do not speak to me because they are me! My inner voice can change, but it is still my own and I fully realize that

My memories are still the same

My consciousness is the same

When I feel most connected to my kin type I am 90% the same person I was, I have the same interests, same identify, orientation, etc

I might feel the need to go by a different name but I still feel connected to my former name (for example, I had a name I felt connected to when shifting to my vampire kintype, but I still very well felt comfortable being called or seen as my real name)

When I look in the innerworld I am still in the front

My kins will sometimes seem more 2d then my headmates if that makes sense? Such as when I feel connected to a certain kintype, I'm stuck in a certain mood

Feeling more like my kin type is not like switching, there is no dissociation or anything, it's more like

"Oh, I'm feeling like an angelic deity today! This is very nice <3 I will do things to honor that"

I really hate syscourse, and this is why

I participated in discourse when I was younger, several years ago. in lgbtq+ discourse. I considered myself a strong advocate for the pan community and a fighter against battle axe bisexuals (bisexuals who think pansexuality isn't real or wtever)

but I wasn't happy. I was extremely depressed. I stayed up late and spent so many hours arguing with people online. and for what? we weren't convincing each other of anything, nobody was winning.

i was targeted by a big creator on instagram. I was harassed, publicly made fun of, and people attempted to dox me. because I considered myself pansexual at the time and I would fight for the pan community

this caused a lot of anxiety for me and panic attacks.

that made me realize that the fight isn't worth the cost. no matter how much u argue, how loud u are, u will never convince the other side of ur opinion or of ur belief. even if what ur fighting for is factual, people will always disbelieve facts and evidence. no matter what u say.

all u can do is hope that they grow out of this phase eventually, but u can't change someone else's mind and being mature is realizing that. (/not trying to be mean)

I pity people who participate in syscourse because all of u, and I mean pro and anti endos, sound miserable. and I know u are. I was just like u guys

(and just to clarify, I am not saying u can't have opinions on topics of discourse. I am saying that the way ppl go about expressing these opinions and arguing with each other doesn't accomplish anything and nobody wins)

no happy person geniunely participates in discourse.
