What are sysmeds and why are they considered "bad" (or at least on DNI's) by a lot of pro endo blogs/systems?/gen q

They're people who systems who have members that didn't exclusively form from trauma exist. They often think we're faking and invading the DID/OSDD community, spreading misinformation about the condition. That or they think we're in denial about our trauma and effectively should be forced to think we're DID/OSDD systems through ridicule and invalidation.

The term sysmed comes from the term transmed, a term to describe people who think you need to have dysphoria and to "fully" transition to be trans. They often think you also cannot be gender nonconforming and trans, especially if you're say, a butch transfem or a femme transmasc. They think people without dysphoria, who dont transition as they see fit, who are gnc as faking being trans and spreading misinformation about what being trans is. They think we're invading the trans community and deserve to be harassed out of it.

So as you can see, sysmeds and transmeds are very similar in their beliefs. Overall, they both think people with different experiences than them inherently invalidate their own experiences and are acting with malice against them. Instead of recognizing trans and plural experiences are vast and complex, they shove people into boxes, and if people refuse those boxes, they see them as a detriment to the community who need to be expunged. It's pretty awful.

For context I am a dissociative traumagenic system but also a partly deligenic system. For us that means we have a dissociative disorder, the vast majority of our members are formed from trauma, but we do have some members that came about due to some identity delusions we had (we're schizoaffective).

In literally the exact same way that an absolutely, entirely completely dysphoric trans person can delay their own transition, convincing themselves that they need more dysphoria to be allowed, an entirely completely traumagenic plural system can convince themselves they haven't experienced enough trauma to deserve to call themselves plural.

Almost like we shouldn't let the psychiatric institution appoint itself in charge of who is and isn't allowed to be a non-normative kind of person. Almost like that inevitably leads to carceral policing around the edges of people's identities.

The conceit of legal sex implies it's enforcement and so too does the conceit of medicalized identity.

tl;dr 

I support self-dx as long as you’re only using the label internally and using it to search for coping mechanisms. If it really bothers you, seek professional help, not strangers over the internet. You can legitimately brainwash yourself into your own god damn mind emulating Plural (&) (/metaphor), especially with the “aid” of internet strangers who only seek to validate you and tell you that you 100% have this disorder. 

I went through the god damn cult-like mentality of endogenic/plural echo chambers for two years. I went through thinking I was a system. Don’t let it happen to you.
