I posted tarot card Tweak a while ago but. this one is special to me. my dear friend asked me to pull a card for them after the death of our mutual friend and I pulled the hermit. i hope it comforts me over the grieving period.

Pokecana- the Hermit
Magic Tarot 9 - Hermit ☯
You don’t know this girl, because I have never posted art with her. Once upon a time I wanted to start drawing manga, I came up with a plot, characters, drew two pages, but things didn’t go any further. Therefore, the main character remained only in my memory and on the notorious two pages. In short, this girl is the spirit of an abandoned street, the spirit that she was tied to a specific street and couldn’t go anywhere until the world itself began to collapse. But instead of disappearing along with the dying world, she ended up where the spirits were supposed to go after death, where all the dead from her street ended up, except for her.

Reclusive but not necessarily troglodytic: vintage hermits.
The Hermit is all about gaining a deeper understanding of yourself by going within. In The Barkana deck, we stuck to pretty classic symbolism here, but were specifically delighted when a golden lab was chosen to be the model! Because, when you journey inwards, it can be scary at first (there are a lot of shadows in the corners of our soul!)…but then you end up seeing this smiling labrador holding a light for you, and you know all is going to be good.
The Hermit is a reminder that, ultimately, there is something unconditionally loving guiding us. That’s the core of every major faith–the idea of some benevolent guidance, and it’s something I personally believe too.
Dogs, as we all know, embody this beautiful unconditional love. So, in our Hermit, it’s a reminder of that energy that is always guiding you. You can always find it when you go within, with genuine curiosity for what you are like in moments of solitude and reflection.
When you next pull the Hermit card, remember this love, alright? ❤️ (And if you don’t yet have this deck in your collection, pick one up for lots more sweet puppy smiles!)
