I got knocked out of the groove for the models I was working on when the election happened.

Thankfully, a few days later, my BattleTech Mercenaries Kickstarter rewards showed up, so I got an interesting option for my standard "I am burning out on these, let me paint something else" approach.

Behold, a giant Timber Wolf 'Mech painted up in the colors of one of the more interesting mercenary units in the Inner Sphere: Team Banzai.

Why are they interesting? Because it's literally just Buckaroo Banzai, and his band, from the awesome, cheesy, utterly mad film The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension, but with "MechWarrior" added to each of their excessive individual accomplishments.

Just finished this Hatchetman, painted in Team Banzai colors. You know... That mercenary mechwarrior scientist group led by B.Banzai out of New Avalon. I don't know what movie you're talking about, pay no mind to that watermelon.
