As I work on the next chapter for Episode 3 have some fun character trivia for some of the members of the cast of Transformers Next Generation.
Mirage is fairly religious. He believes wholly in Primus and in the Thirteen original Primes and tends to pray when he's in dire straits. A lot of his religious views are derived from the beliefs held by his grand-progenitor and clan and are based on many of the beliefs held during pre-war Cybertron. This has led to Mirage having certain views regarding things like outliers.
Interestingly enough, Hot Rod is also somewhat religious. At bare minimum he wholly believes that Primehood is conferred by the will of Primus himself.
Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Hound meanwhile tend to treat the story of Primus as a distant legend. Not having been raised by particularly religious bots nor ever having been on Cybertron they have far less of a connection to Primus and the Thirteen as concepts outside of stories.
Hot Rod has a huge crush on his sparkling-hood friend, Arcee.
Bumblebee loves games and tends to be good at video games in particular.
While rough and tumble, Cliffjumper secretly harbors a sweet natured soft side that only comes out to those he's closest to.
While Hound is easily the kindest youngling in the group, he has no sympathy for any decepticon regardless of the situation.
Mirage develops a quick love for earthling romance media and becomes a bit of a hopeless romantic as a result. Even beginning to dream of making such a romantic connection himself one day.
Marissa is neither particularly religious nor atheistic. Her attitude is largely laid back when it comes to the powers that be. Preferring to focus more on the here and now rather than some future afterlife.
Marissa: Care to explain why we have 6 dogs in our apartment?
Thundercracker: They're golden retrievers, Marissa. They retrieve gold. I did this for us.

Marissa Faireborn was ready to begin the next chapter of her life as a professional photographer. For once her life was going to focus entirely on herself. Where she wanted to go. What she wanted to do. And the first step was photographing the tricentennial meteor shower.

The autobot younglings awaken to find themselves stranded on an alien organic world. With no way to contact the autobot fleet, and uncertain if anyone is looking for them, they could really use a knowledgeable native guide...
Have writers block so imma attempt a bit of a fun exercise that will also helpfully inform you guys a bit more about my next generation au (still need a better name for it).
I'm gonna try and write quick character descriptions of a few of the major characters in the au using 3-5 sentences or less. Naturally this may get a little long so if you're interested you can find it under the READ MORE.
Autobot High Command
Starting with the group of autobot younglings stranded on Earth!
Hot Rod - Freshly promoted to Corporal on the heels of his groups capture by the decepticons, Hot Rod is the (temporary) leader of the autobot cadets stranded on Earth. A skilled pilot, his high endurance and rare pyrokinetic outlier abilities make him filled with unrealized potential that is unfortunately hindered by a degree of bravery that borders on recklessness. While inexperienced both as a soldier and a leader, he is well liked by nearly all his fellow autobots and is determined to fulfill his given mission to return the stranded cadets to the safety of the Autobots Ark.
Bumblebee - This eager little yellow cadet is one of the most well liked younglings amongst autobot high command for his friendly demeanor and bright personality. Deep down, however Bumblebee is a bot desperate to prove his worth and convince others that he isn't in need of protection or rescuing. Excited to explore Earth on their way to reuniting with the other autobots, Bee views his newfound team and mission as a perfect opportunity to prove himself as a great autobot warrior. Though he may have trouble as his twin brother Cliffjumper and bunkmate Hound work hard to reign in his adventurous tendencies.
Cliffjumper - There is likely no cadet amongst the ranks of the 3rd generation autobots more ready to jump into action than Cliffjumper who more than justifies his name by charging into action guns blazing, rivaling Hot Rod in his hotheaded recklessness. Cliff is never happier than when he's taking some kind of action, finding cerebral work taxing and undesirable. Despite this, in his spark of sparks Cliffjumper is neither stupid nor deliberately cruel and is actually capable of deep loyalty and affection towards those closest to him. Especially his twin brother bumblebee, whom he is fiercely protective over, and his lifelong best friend Hound, for whom he has a deep affection.
Hound - Hound is the epitome of the ideal autobot cadet; disciplined, reliable, skilled, and respectful to his superiors. His enhanced sensory units are so sharp that his superiors suspect them of bordering on outlier territory, making him an exceptional scout and tracker out in the field. Despite being trained as a future soldier of war, Hound is a gentle soul with an interest in organic life and an empathetic, sometimes meek, personality making him a great contrast to his best friend Ciffjumper and bunkmate Bumblebee.
Mirage - A fellow escapee of decepticon custody and a current, albeit unwilling, ally to the young autobots; Mirage is a mysterious, cold, elegant, and above all else mature neutral cybertronian who has graciously deigned to give the group his aid in exchange for help getting off Earth. Or at least that's what Mirage would like everyone to think. In reality, Mirage is a heavily sheltered, distrusting, socially inexperienced friendless teenager who has found himself mixed up in a conflict he has spent most of his young life desperately avoiding. Disliking and distrusting autobot and decepticon alike, he has temporarily teamed up with Hot Rods group mostly out of necessity and desperation. Despite this he does contribute quite a lot to the group thanks to his above average marksman skills and a mysterious 'upgrade' that allows him to turn invisible at will.
Marissa Faireborn - A human photographer the young autobots meet soon after their crash landing on Earth, she acts as an invaluable guide to the young cybertronians as they travel to reunite with the other autobots. As the first 'alien' organic that many of the younglings have ever met, she's forced to tolerate quite a bit of questioning and prodding from them about humans as well as slowly piecing together what information she can about the cybertronians in order to better understand how they work and what their presence on Earth might imply. Although she insists that she is just a humble traveling photographer her broad knowledge on a wide arrange of subjects, expertise in firearms and self defense, and hardy unshakeable self possession even in the face of decepticons suggests there is more to this human woman than meets the eye...
lol I definitely failed my challenge but this was still fun.
This isn't all the characters obviously, but its a start. May do this again eventually
