A/N: Written for @allys-creative-bubble! My first filled request on this blog and the first of many for my #450celebration. I hope it helps, Ally girl!
You’d been locked in your room for a week, studying for your upcoming exams. Sam and Dean were getting worried about you, only having seen you once or twice in the last five days.
“Sis?” Dean called as he stuck his head in your room. Finding you asleep on your books, he chuckled. He quietly turned down your bed and gently lifted you from your desk chair, tucking you in tightly. As a safety measure, he took your laptop and books with him into the kitchen and set them on the counter while he started cooking dinner.
Sam came in from his run, dripping sweat, and headed to the kitchen for a bottle of water. Seeing the pile of school books on the counter, he turned to Dean. “She come out yet?”
“No, found her passed out on the books. Put her in bed and took them. She’s gotta come out and eat something before she can have them back,” he replied to his brother as he continued cooking.
“Alright, I’m going shower. Dinner in 20?” Sam stated as he walked out of the kitchen.
“Make it 30.”
You stirred when you heard footsteps pass in front of your door. You sat up, quickly remembering that you hadn’t gotten into bed in the last several days. Glancing around the room, you notice that your study materials are gone. “Saaaam,” you growled under your breath. Your brother knew how important these exams were. Not only did he not wake you when he found you, but he took your books so you’d have to take a break.
Throwing off the covers, you stomp out of your room and follow voices and delicious smells to the kitchen, where Sam and Dean were sitting at the table, plating burgers that smelled heavenly.
“Sam, why’d you take my books?” you accused with your hands on your hips.
“I didn’t -” he started.
“I took them,” Dean told you. “You have been in that room for a week without a good meal or a decent rest. Sit down and eat and you can have them back.” The tone he used was his older brother ‘I know best’ tone. You groaned but sat down at an empty place and grabbed a burger.
Biting into the burger, you hummed as the flavors hit your tongue. It was even better than his usual fare, probably due to the fact that you hadn’t had a proper meal in days. You quickly devoured one burger, then another. By the time you’d finished your second burger, you were feeling much better.
“I told you that you needed to eat,” Dean gloated as he reached for the study material in the cupboard.
“Not yet,” Sam interrupted. “You need to take a shower, sis. Don’t take this personally, but you smell worse than I do after a run.”
Your face fell. “I...I do?” You sniffed at yourself and were disgusted. “Oh god, you’re right. I do stink. Not worse than you but, ew.” You chuckled at the bitch face you got from Sam and the joyous laughter that erupted from Dean. “I’m going to shower. Ten minutes and I’ll be back for those books with no other stipulations.” You pointed at each of them, showing your older brothers you meant business, before going for your shower.
You came out of the shower half an hour later, fully cleaned and somewhat less tense to find that your books had made their way back to your room with a note:
You tucked it in your drawer for safe keeping and turned back to your studying. You had two of the best brothers you could ask for.
