My Eurovision 2021 Experience:
Italy won with the best song! Can't 100% comprehend the level of horniness everybody else has for it, but Måneskin sounds like a good band. I might check them out.
Switzerland wasn't bad, but the song was not particularly interesting. The guy had a nice voice tho. Kinda reminded me of Jaskier.
While I did not like the French entry as much, I have to admit, that she delivered a great performance. But I'm really glad neither Switzerland nor France won, because otherwise we would have had a lot of these chanson type songs next year and I don't know if I could handle that.
Iceland, Finland and the Ukraine getting the love they deserve from the public votes, I love to see it! Especially Iceland was such a bop.
The Ukrainian singer looks like Morgana from Merlin and the more her song went on, the more I liked it. She's cool.
Finland coming on directly after Germany. You can't tell me that's a coincidence! Their song was fine. Italy definitely delivered an improved version of it tho.
Germany actually was kind of fun this year. Like, the song was not good, but the fact that we had a dancing middle finger and were apparently so memeable that we trended on 5 is worth the 2 points we got.
We got more points than the UK! And we're not alone with the 0 points this year! That counts as something right? Now the others will know our shame and humiliation!
The intervall act with the past winners was nice. Måns is still being held hostage obviously. But come on, why do they never invite Alexander Rybak to these "Past Winner" things anymore? Like, he came for "Love Love Peace Peace" (the best Intervall act, you can't change my mind) and in 2012 and still holds the record for the most jury points. You can't tell me, you wouldn't want to invite him, right?
