When Maria was blinded

She obviously couldn't see Tock, who was about to probably deliver the killing blow unless Maria begged for her life.

So Maria felt for her weapon in the darkness of her blindness.

Maria's weapon basically returns to the other mini scythe. (Like if Thor had 2 hammers that are connected to each other.)

Her eyes just got sliced but she could still use her other senses. Her hearing gave her the general direction of where Tock was standing. So she turns on the Magnet or gravity dust return mechanism of her weapon.

So when Tock was stabbed from behind by the scythe returning and it made her fall forward within range, Maria was able to

-decapitate Tock.

I just thought it was a nice touch. 👌

(I didn't expect this to be how Maria lost her eyes, but the fight scene was so cool.)

Maria fighting that nevermore reminded me so much of the giant nevermore fight in Players and Pieces.
