What if the reason he stopped researching crystals and wanted to quit the scientist division all together is because he saw something he shouldn’t have...?

This is old art (pls give me a pat on the back for finally posting) and a old theory that occurred to me in the shower while I was hallucinating charcoal on the walls from working on my college portfolios every waking hour of the day.

If Medkit really was able to engineer life returning crystals by himself then color me impressed, but I think the entire thing is just too fishy. What if the Spawn is an actual tangible god way beyond the comprehension of any inphernal, and Medkit gained their blessing but also was terrified ash.

Obviously more a au than a theory tho lol

This actually ties into BWD as well, because he further loses respect for The Swords as Gods because of this, instead of being terrified like canon med he chases after this divinity and wants to meet The Spawn again.

They snarled holding their dual swords tighter in their claws as they swung at the ring of fire slowly burning into the ground,

"CURSE YOU AND YOUR STUPID MAGIC. IF YOU THINK YOUR SO POWERFUL FIGHT FAIR."

"Is it not fair for one to use gifts he was made with, against someone who Stole theirs from others."

1x1x1x1 snarled again and dragged their swords on the ground

"my my, whatever could the matter be? Can you not reach me up here?"

He said as his wings gave powerful flaps

"oh! That's right. You can't fly."

He remarked cruelly 1x1x1x1 almost flinched as what was left of their wings tucked against their back before they scowled

"ENOUGH GAMES. WE BOTH KNOW YOU CANNOT DO ANYTHING FROM SO FAR AWAY. SO IF THIS TRULY IS TO BE THE LAST BATTLE BETWEEN US COME DOWN AND FIGHT."

Telamon grinned and gladly took the offer, his wings flapped as he swooped down into the circle raising the lumina, 1x1x1x1 grinned and with a word small greenlings. Husks that have had souls taken from them appeared, telamon narrowed his eyes under his hood

But in that one moment of mortality, that fleeting second that telamon was actually weak, a sword pieced the avian God's heart, and in an instant both the cursed soul and the god of creation were gone.

And the light of the heights dimmed. The lumina no longer buzzed with power, the swords stayed in quiet greif

And all they could do was watch the scene below with horror
