4. Are they formally trained or have they gone through a more organic learning experience for their skillset?

Yew hasn’t ever received a “formal” education really. His herbalism skills come a bit from parental (and “parental”) instruction, and a lot of self-learning. He received a lot of information, kind of unknowingly, from his patron. Also reading whatever books he might have gotten a hold on. 

19. They have to go live on a deserted island. They can take one thing and one person. What do they take?

He’d take his familiar Thorn. Sort of required to do that. And then his newly gifted portable alchemy lab, which right now is up there on the “Prized Possessions” list. And since familiars don’t really count, someone from the party. They all have their pros. Tarren is good at surviving, and hitting things. Lynn would probably do well on an island, since undines sure love water. Nazehya can fly, which is super useful too. He might try to smuggle all three on, most definitely unsuccessfully. 

24. Do they have any interesting skills?

Hmm. Outside of healing, and nature identification, he’s kind of a mess. But, he can do that thing where you bend your fingers all the way back.

🖊  Aryoth

One way Aryoth likes to show appreciation or say thank you to someone is by giving them food. It’s almost always fish (or some other meat). Often very freshly caught, may-or-may-not-still-be-wriggling, fish.

🖊 Ashscale

Ashscale’s sense of touch has been different since she basically died, was revived, and given new armor-skin by The Molten One. Where the armor covers her, her sense of touch is much duller compared to what is was before. The spaces where the armor doesn’t cover her (because it doesn’t 100% cover her) are more sensitive, from a bit ticklish at best, to sometimes painful. Its taken her some time getting used to this new normal.

🖊 Saiph

Saiph dislikes using photon mode and avoids using it when she can. Unlike the default state of her stellar mote and graviton mode, which are both completely silent, her photon mode is loud. It makes sounds similar to the rumbling of thunder. Saiph hates this. The loud sounds aren’t the only reason she dislikes photon mode, but its one of the major reasons she doesn’t like it.

Same, our air quality has been abysmal all week. It’s smoky outside, along with being 90-100 degrees, and the sky has been pretty much just grey, there’s a bit of blue today though.

yeah the sky here is grey too and sometimes if there’s a lot of smoke and ash in the air it makes all the sunlight on the ground a red-orange color

I feel like talking more about Ashscale, so here’s more fun facts about her!

Ashscale’s homeland is a place called The Molten Deep. it’s a place very far beneath the surface and very hot. its farther down than the Underdark would be if this game was set in a dnd setting

Because Ashscale is immune to fire and heat as long as its not magical, she usually doesn’t need a blacksmith’s apron or protective gloves when she’s weapon smithing. she still owns and wears an apron when using magical sources of fire to do her smithing

Ashscale actually rarely uses blacksmith’s hammers as well -- she typically uses just her fire magic to heat and shape the metal

For Kriskrik :) If they could have one thing in the world, what would it be? Your character is given a voodoo doll of themself. What do they do with it? Do they see if it actually works? Is your character more likely to keep trying a solution/method that didn’t work the first time, or immediately move on to a different solution/method?

Ohh you’ll have to come back to me with that first question because the answer to that is very spoilery and the other players from her game follow this blog :’D

As for the voodoo doll question, she wouldn’t believe it actually does anything but would test it out anyway. Because, hey, other weird stuff has been happening lately with her so who knows! She’d start with small things, like pulling on the doll’s antenna, or putting the doll in funny positions, or dropping the doll to the floor. After than she’d gingerly poke the doll with a needle, likely on a spot like the hand.

if a method she used didn’t work the first time, she’d try one or two more times, but slightly differently than the first time. If those fail she moves onto something different.

Yeah I avoided making a female character for just that reason xD the armor will be sorta 'tame' one moment and WHOA the next. I've been playing solo too so far and I'm liking it :'D
