Hello! I am a detransitioner (ftmtf) and I'm here to say that I love you transmascs. You guys go through so, so much and I'm tired of people using stories like mine to paint transmascs as "confused girls." I love you and you deserve to be viewed as who you are, not who people want you to be.

Never forget how handsome and wonderful you guys are.

My college allows students to set their own pronouns on their documents and change it as needed! It also allows for he/they versus they/her for example, along with an "other" option!!

In my experience at this school, it has been followed well!!

They're also just accommodating in general as they have my preferred name as my school email and my school ID! (mind you i haven't legally changed my name)! Any student can do this!

Plus teachers have all been chill as well!!

(This is extra big because I live in a very transphobic state, so having an inclusive school is amazing!)

(This is solidarity from my father) Im otherkin in some way (idk the correct wording all ik is that im definitely NOT human). I told my dad about it and he sort of knew about therians. I introduced him to this band and the creator is a therian and he got so excited about it! He loves them and has been listening to them 24/7 recently, and im so glad I have an understanding dad :3

fat solidarity is the youtube channel Body Project including fat or just not totally buff people in their exercising videos :) the coaches also encourage taking breaks when anything hurts instead of only "pushing through it"

i don't exercise anymore for personal reasons, physical reasons, and loaded exhaustion, but i used to follow their low-effort workouts all the time and they're truly encouraging just because they're empathetic and kind to bodies

Not audism but I've noticed an uptick in younger generations using closed captions as a whole. In my classes most everyone, regardless of hearing or processing ability, prefers using them when we watch things together because it makes it easier for everyone.

I think some of the strongest proof I’ve seen recently that the whole attempt on tumblr to divide transmascs and transfems is BS and something that isn’t as accepted outside of here is the recent release of the song Ego Renegade Boy by flavor foley

if I remember correctly that group was mostly made up of transfems but they still managed to write an awesome song about the experience of being a trans man! Tumblr is lying when it says that transfem and transmasc experiences can’t be similar, and that we can’t relate to each other. For everyone caught up in this discourse- spend some time off this hellsite! There is still solidarity, it’s going to be okay!

And very good advice! While yes, discourse can be about very important things, it's important to remember that over time being flooded by negative experiences will shape your views of the world! We are stronger together, and that will not change!
