What is Prussia still uptight about?
Ye! Ty for giving me an excuse to write more about Prussia anon! 💖💖 I might change my mind about some of these but idk.
Okay, firstly I need to preface this by saying that Prussia raised Germany. If Prussia was as laidback as he likes to seem, Germany would not have turned out like that and you can fight me on it.
So here’s some of the things I think Gilbert’s uptight about:
I rearranged them from most most to least
His clothes: Are pristine. Espically his uniforms. There’s no repairing clothes in this house, when his clothes get worn down he gets new ones. He takes very good care of his clothes though and will genuinely be furious at anyone who ruins them- his uniforms especially. He also probably smells like shoe polish because of how often he shines his boots.
Morals: He doesn’t agree with some of the ways France and Spain go about things. Like if you want a straight answer from the btt with no trickery ask Gilbert. He really disapproves of using manipulation to get something. (Lol does anyone remember that headcanon of mine? I think that was my first big headcanon ever.)
Organisation: He keeps his house very organised, all his books arranged neatly and all his documents filed away. (Note that I don’t think the same applies to him in a human au)
Punctuality. While he’s not as uptight as Ludwig about this, Gilbert’s always on time- whether he’s early or bang on time. He doesn’t care if other people are late but hates when he, himself is running late. It’s something that most nations don’t even know about him, the majority just take his puntuality as luck.
Cleanliness: His house is very tidy, he doesn’t let dishes pile up or dust to collect. He must doesn’t like living in a messy environment. Probably sets aside a Sunday to deep clean. Though I can’t decided if his house is cluttered or not, part of me feels like his house would be pretty sleek/modern looking but cluttered idk?? (Again though, he probably wouldn’t do this is humanverse)
(also can I write a probably boring comparison between him and England in terms of cleaning and organising?)
I feel like the clothes one would be the most noticible to other people. Oh and he’s probably pretty precise about his daily routine though idk if you’d class that as uptight.
I feel like Julchen would be kinda similar, like she always removes her makeup before she sleeps and brushes out her hair before bed.
Homeraised Steven AU || Design 5/10
hey guys, sorry for that pause!!! finals have been crazy! here’s amethyst for homeraised! she’s definitely also feeling those effects of steven being taken as a baby... little more detached, little closer to what she was at the beginning of the show but... a little worse too
I KNOW WHAT I’M GETTING MYSELF FOR MY THIRTIETH BIRTHDAY
i’ve been thinking a lot recently about the whole “Asperger’s is autism” thing, which is absolutely true!! i know they’re not separate things according to the DSMV and they shouldn’t be, Asperger’s is autism.
Hoooowever. i’ve been thinking about the use of Asperger’s and Aspie as a label for a group of autistic people that share similar symptoms and stuff, which is basically how my psychologist described it to me. he was like, you have ASD, you’re autistic, but you fit the criteria for what we used to call Asperger’s, and searching things related to Asperger’s or Aspie stuff will probably be more relevant to what you struggle with daily.
so anyway, i’m thinking, how do other autistics feel now about using Asperger’s/Aspie to describe yourself if you fit into that category? do you prefer just saying you’re autistic, or do you like the idea of having a kind of subset that groups some people with similar experiences together?
i personally don’t really have an opinion! i think people should be able to use whatever language they want to describe themselves and their neurodivergence.
big mood
I wish I was talented enough to edit in a space background but (its quite loud so i suggest you to turn down your volume a bit)
