I like how when doing a threat display, some owls will adopt an extremely wide-eyed, threatening facial expression

But some other owls won't change their expression at all, and will just be like "bro really c'mon i'm very big u really want some of this?"

so my friend bought a house and it came with this elaborate Japanese supertoilet. the first time I walked into the bathroom it spied me, raised its lid with a hiss and spat a little water. worst of all, someone had painted big googly eyes on the underside of the lid.

I went back downstairs. "I no longer need to use the restroom. It did a threat display at me."

Helvias new official design ^

I kept a lot of elements from the new design but wanted to lean into my own tastes in humanoid robots! She takes inspiration from gynoids to try and push the themes of her being objectified and sexualized. Her skin is now a clear shell, both because I think it looks sick and to make her wires visible. I stylized the wires in her stomach to look like guts but I think in the future I'd want to make them more clearly wires. I gave her goggles to parallel Aegis. I felt like the lines on her mouth already paralleled Vanessas mask well so I wanted them to all tie in, tho her makeup was doing this before. Idk I think the goggles are neat

Like here with Aegis (red) having a chain motif and a leash to show that he's kind of given in to the control his "record label" has over him. In contrast to that I thought the spikes on Vanessa (blue) would show her more violent rebellion. The belt around her neck on the tightest setting to show how suffocating keeping up this charade is. The spikes are also inspired by the peacock butterfly's caterpillar! Spheciform told me they might go in that direction for her and I really liked that and wanted to lean in hard

Woo!! Yayyy!!! There's stuff I'd wanna change and build on but I think these are cool concepts. I'm obsessed with threat display and wanted to give it the tricky treatment!!
