I was actually able to wake up to my alarm this morning the first time it went off instead of hitting snooze a billion times. I love it when my mornings start off great and continue to go that way the rest of the day!
I woke up and immediately exercised for 30 minutes.
I also made time to work more on my bullet journal, although it feels daunting with how much work it is to make one! When i see YouTube videos of people making them the videos are much more sped up than I thought. I’m worried I won’t be able to keep up with it but time will tell.
I’ve been wanting a food scale for a while now, years actually, but now that I’ve really put my foot down with weight loss ( like more than I ever have in the past) I’m just trying to make sure I set myself up for success every step of the way. I’ve actually bought one 2 years ago but never once opened it and now it’s lost somewhere 😭
And oh my goodness have I been greatly miscalculating my food measurements! I wouldn’t look at this tiny bowl of grapes and think it was 5 ounces. When I put it in my calorie app I would have only put like 3 ounces just from eyeing it and I would have greatly miscalculated my calories 😱
Also this scale/the box/packaging made it look much bigger than it actually is. But what matters is that it works, the reviews I read on this one was a toss up, it had a lot of good reviews but a handful of bad reviews that said it goes out after 6 months or so, but I really needed this in my life so it’s okay! 6 months of daily food weighing is 6 months of more success than if I didn’t have one.
For lunch I made tikka masala, which is actually one of my favorite meals, but I was crushed after finding out how many calories it is for the amount I used to eat of it 😭
Bonus picture of my cat doing the typical if I fits I sits thing immediately after I took the scale out of the packaging.
