Yes, I do think Shane would be incredibly understanding and empathetic with Ilya regarding his depression and not once would he ever make him feel small for needing help. Yes, I do think Shane would do so much research regarding the places their charities funds are and would be going and definitely would hire occupational therapists to help them create better environments for the neurodivergent kids that they take in for camp and make it a more accessible and comfortable space for them. Yes, I do also think Shane would send great durations of time looking into mental health and suicide prevention charities, one because he wants to both find out ways they themselves can expand and help more people but also because he wants to understand these struggles on a deeper level.
Yes i also do think Shane would never willingly go to therapy and refute any undiagnosed autistic tendencies he has even if they're so blaringly obvious that everyone has to just take a second to breath in or else they might just grab Shane and shake him.
