I feel like we as titans fans don’t talk enough abt the fact the death trap arc literally ends with joey getting his eyes gouged out. What the fuck was that about

After kory gets an offer to join the justice league she isn’t sure if she should be on any team and goes to talk to dick.

She thinks about how he knows her better than anyone else on Earth and how their bond transcends most definitions. Hes been her connection to the planet since the start and means more to her than anyone else on earth even now.

She mentions that dick even moves different now that he’s Batman and dick tells her Batman doesn’t dance. Kory tells him not to talk to her like that and dick apologizes and offers to take off the cowl somewhere more private if it’s hard for her to talk to him like this. She denies and says she doesn’t need to see his face to know his heart. Just hear his voice. Dick says it’s the same both ways and asks what’s wrong.

Kory talks about her guilt about not wanting to stay with the titans. Dick tells her leaving and going off on your own is a normal part of being family. Dick tells her to do what’s good for her, not something that’s wrong for her but for a good reason.

Kory goes back to talk to Victor.
