It’s so, so hard to choose one cuz there are so many awesome one ones in so many itterations, but I think I’ve gotta go with Donatello. Every itteration of him is fantastic but @cupcakeslushie’s specifically will always hold a special place in my heart.

I stumbled across this event a couple years late but I wanted to draw something for it anyway! My favorite turtle, our Fearless Leader 💙 1990 is the Leo who first drew me into the franchise, 2003 is the Leo who brought me back, and 1987 is the most fun Leonardo for me to draw! I'm pretty proud of how this turned out!

Day 1: Favorite Turtle

Leonardo my beloved <3 I thought about drawing every iteration of Leo before my brain cell kicked back in and went, no that’s insane? So i settled for drawing each Leo from each tv series! Including the one that will be coming out on paramount at some point. Made two versions bc i couldn’t decide between doing this challenge in a more inktober style or just going ham, i eventually settled on doing both and seeing how quickly i get burnt out lmao. So we’ll see in the future if colored ones stay or not.

Wanna give a special thanks to the creator @mikasleaf of this challenges prompt list btw! This will be the first time I’ve ever participated in a 31 day challenge, but I’m really excited to! So thanks so much for making it!!!

Now for a little anecdote: I adore all the turtles, like genuinely love all of them, so picking a favorite is REALLY HARD. HOWEVER. One really funny thing about me that helped make the choice to draw Leo was the fact that as a child I watched the 03 tmnt show on 4kids. I didn’t really understand all the details with Leo’s character back then, but he was my absolute favorite. Not because of his swords, or the fact he was a good big brother, or a really talented ninja, no, none of that whatsoever. I loved him so much as a kid because of one reason—HE. WAS. BLUE! And blue was my favorite color, so obviously he had to be my favorite turtle. I still adore Leo with all my heart ofc, but now as an adult I horde ALL of the tmnt boys bc i love each of their characters for individual reasons, but this boy right here? He got me into the series all bc he was blue. Gotta love how child brains work lmao.

TMayNT Day 1: Your Favorite Turtle

First day of @tmaynt! Donnie is my favorite turtle in most TMNT iterations, and it's no surprise that Rise Donnie is my top pick overall. You just can't beat this purple mad scientist!

I'm playing around with some new brushes and coloring styles for these prompts, so this should be fun! Gonna try to do as many of them as I can, even if some end up being a bit late!

But honestly, I love all the turtle brothers in basically every iteration. (Rise Leo is just so much fun to draw!)

Happy TMayNT! My favorite turtle is Donatello in every iteration, but I decided to just draw Rise Donnie since ROTTMNT is what got in me into TMNT to begin with. Also, this version of Donnie is my spirit animal.

I actually had SUCH a hard time picking. I also really wanted to draw him glowing but decided to go classic. A big secret about me is I'm a huge Leonardo girlie. This first prompt was such a 3 way tie for me between 87, rise, and 03 Leo but I picked 03 Leo ultimately. His emo era is so iconic.

I wanted to draw Leo with eyes! I'm still watching the final season of 03 and while the eyes are jarring I do like that Leo has what seems to be green to bluish green eyes!
