just rewatched the old guard 2 and if tuah and discord were there when quynh got put into the iron maiden, why didn’t they just help her out after everyone left ???? and if tuah and discord were the earliest immortals, who did they hear the theory from ? like how are humans going to speculate about them ??? were there other immortals before them ?!

Aedion Ashryver is a hell of a character. Change my mind.

Aedion Ashryver is an absolute emotional and moral powerhouse of the entire series.

The guy:

is loyal to the point of pain – literally and emotionally. In "QoS" when he knew he would be sentenced to death but still he wanted to die on his own terms and damn it, he almost succeeded! His determination to die with dignity, on his own terms, without mercy, without self-pity, without begging – THAT'S CHARACTER. He knew he had broken the rules of Adarlan. And seriously – he was one step away from leaving with such a bang that only Aelin could stop him at the last moment and change the course of history. And Aelin entered this scene. He had already accepted his fate. He wanted to die like a hero, but he is still alive and our beloved S J Maas allows him to be ridden even more. Now he has to live, fight, love, fail, torment himself… and grow as a human being. Because life is a harder road than death.

Carries tons of trauma with pride and jokes on his lips. 14 years old taking part in a historic battle? Put on his CV. Orphanhood and loss of family? No problem. Despite this, he still listened to others and acted for his beloved cousin even though he didn't know if she was alive at all, he was willing to die for her even before he knew she was alive,

unconscious humiliation by his beloved Aelin at the end of "EoS" That wasn't a plan. It was a continuation of his trauma - dressed up as "reason". And that with a woman he started to feel something for. Because let's be clear: he didn't want to be the "solution". He wanted to be loved. And what did he get? Duty. Again.

He deserves his own whole trilogy. He wanted to be loved unconditionally and once again he became a sword.

So i dont know nor ((for the purpose of this hc)) care about the customs of witch crowns in tog but but I think it would be really cute if Manon wears a crown with 12 spikes. If you want a magical reason, 12 is the number of completion, but for her its the number of brave warriors who sacrificed themselves for her, who she will never forget, her family

i have this hc that Joe spent most of the beginning of their relationship just caressing nicky's face with the tip of his fingers and not just because ✨cuddles✨ but also like. he's trying to memorise and register nicky's face so that he can portray it in the best way.

like just imagine them laying down next to each other and Joe on his side, one hand propping up his head and the other one just tracing nicky's profile, his cheekbone, his eyebrow, down along his nose to the mouth, thumb over the cupid's bow

and Joe's expression is so focused, lips slightly parted and dark eyes that follow the movement of his own fingers whilst his brain is taking everything in, every single curve, every single dip, every single line, so that he can carry them over to the paper later on

and still, not feeling completely like he's got it just yet

and still, nicky will lay down next to him every single time he requires so and let him memorise him because Joe can make art out of anything and Nicky loves looking at himself through his eyes.
