Apparently my dad ships McSpirk??!!! Which, don't get me wrong, is great, but I just wasn't expecting it. My dad normally hates shipping but I guess the gayness was too powerful to ignore. Like, one of those ships would already be surprising, but both?

I found this out cuz i asked him why McCoy was always inventing space microagressions against spock and he said, "Because he's in love with spock." I laughed, because I though he was joking, but then he went, "seriously, think about. He wants to throw people off the trail." And he kept going. Like he was fully serious.

Then I said, " I think most people go for spirk. You know, spock and kirk." And he was like, "oh, yeah!" And then he just left to go to the bathroom?!?! What on earth. I promise you, I know my dad and he was completely serious. He can keep a joke going for a while, but once you laugh a couple times or tell him to knock it off, he stops. And he always keeps a straight face the whole time, but he was genuinely smiling and thinking about what I said.
