I just topped 5000 total hits on all my fics. I also recently got my 300th kudo and I'm one shy of 30 user subscriptions. 🎉🎉🎉
Sorry my blog has been pretty dead, 'tis graduation season and my husband is walking today! And because I'm that sap, I'm gonna brag on him here for a minute. Despite developing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in his sophomore year, and having continuing/worsening issues with Post-Lyme Disease Syndrome, he's still graduating in Sociology with 3- yes 3!!- minors in Business Management, Nonprofit Management, and International Development. He also happens to be a Ballard Scholar of Social Innovation, a Certified Nonprofit Professional, and a Certified Associate of Project Management. I was there for all of it, and yet I still have NO idea how he pulled all of it off, getting those professional certifications while also doing school full time, working in multiple internships every year, having a part time job, and still having time to learn things just for fun (because he's that guy). Not to mention him always being there for me, to take care of me, support me, and help me with all my own issues. I'm so incredibly proud of him and everything he accomplished! Sorry to gush at you guys, I just love the guy and think he deserves tons of praise, and I know he's way too humble to brag himself.
I seriously have the best cats. We have 5 of them, and 4 of the 5 are siblings. They hardly ever fight and they all frequently ask to be cuddled. It's rare that I'm sitting at the computer and don't have a cat of one color or another in my lap. And for the most part, they're very polite. One in particular comes up to me while I'm gaming and puts his paw on my leg until I tell him it's okay to come join me. All of them break the stereotype of 100% aloof and bitchy cats.
I can’t wait until I’m good enough at drawing to be able to draw smut scenes. Because, not to brag or anything, there are some pretty great scenes in my sex dream au that are just begging to be drawn.
I finished my painting of the building I live in, which I had planned on giving to my landlords for Christmas, because these are the friendliest, most helpful landlords I've ever encountered in my whole career of living on my own.
I'm very proud of the painting, except that I can't share it here because it's so good that you could find out my address by looking at the building even though it doesn't have the number in the painting.
I did say in my previous watercolor post that I would at least check out one watercolor lesson someday, and that was earlier tonight when I couldn't figure out how to paint snow. I watched the video for 35 seconds and then I proceeded. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
Even though I did the same thing that I did to the frog and added just so much detail. I have got to learn how to do a more minimalist landscape type painting, but not today apparently.
