Hey Jack! No rush obviously but I just wanted to check how Transactional Intercourse is coming? I'm sooo excited to read it!
Essentially complete, I'm just making the final edits today and hoping to get the e-book out tomorrow then send it to print! Some of the contributors were a little late getting their pieces in and I really underestimated how slow typing and progress would be with a newborn, but it's finally almost done.
Then tomorrow I'm getting all the files sent to the printer (some time before midnight) and I'm hoping the first people will have books in their hands by the end of February as planned, probably into the first couple of weeks of March for paperbacks and hardbacks to the US, Asia, and parts of Europe because of shipping time. I'll update the Kickstarter with the e-book link and timeline once it's ready tomorrow.

Only Kickstarter backers will have their ebook copies right now (with physical ones on the way!), but if you read Transactional Intercourse and have thoughts then leaving a review on Storygraph would be amazing to help others find out about it as a resource of sex worker writing. is it possible to back the hardcover version of transactional intercourse but have my volume held/donated?
i’m housing insecure and don’t feel confident what/if anything my address will be in the future and it’s not a situation where $30 gonna make any difference so i’d rather give it to y’all on the condtion my book can be held, either till i’m in a better place or donated if you don’t hear from me/things go bad.
That is absolutely something that could be done for you, all you'd need to do is drop me a message about it through Kickstarter once you pledge. However I do want to note that there are a lot of people out there who have money to spare who claim to be allies to intersex and trans and sex working people and we should be able to rely on them to fund projects like this. You should never feel obligated as someone with less to spare, especially if you might not get the chance to even have your copy in your hands (though of course you'd still be able to access the e-copy). If you wanted to just get an e-book and spare yourself the extra cost, that would already be you offering more support proportionate to your situation than most!
